The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Modernista Barcelona with the Gaudi masterpieces and Joan Miro art, the plazas and markets, Roman ruins, the parks, waterfront and mountains, all very accessible with the excellent metro system and fantastic tourist bus made our 5 day trip one of the most interesting holidays I have ever had. Highly recommend it for a city

Breakfast (served until 11.30am) was an enormously varied buffet, with cold meats and cheese, cereals, yoghurt, fruits, hot bacon, sausages, tomatoes, eggs and mushrooms. Lots of different breads, juices, teas and coffees. Great value and just what you need before a days sightseeing. Our room was small but well planned, clean and comfortable. The safe had a plug socket inside it so that you could recharge ipad etc whilst it was in the safe. the shower was huge and clean. If we got the same

The staff was super helpful. Always available to help us plan our stay. They assisted us to make reservations, made all arrangements when we had troubles with our bookings. Always a smile and ready to help.
El Born was the perfect neighborhood for us to visit the city. Very typical, lots of shopping and small restaurants.

Out stay was very short as our train into Barelona was three hours late, along with some other travel problems, so we really only slept in the beds and used the shower, we would of loved to have had more time as we really liked the view and the balcony, unfurtunately our stay turnede out to be for only a few hours, it was nice though we both slept

Very quiet and comfy room, only 2 minutes from the Metro station "Barceloneta" and also from the south entrance to the Barrio Gotico.
Great breakfast and very attentive reception staff!

Great location even though the neighbourhood looks a little dodgy at first. 2 minute walk to the cathedral, 10 minute walk to La Rambla and Placa Catalunya and 15 minute walk to the beach. Clean apartment with all the basic furniture you need. -

The apartment was half the price of two hotel rooms in the Gothic Quarter for our party of 5. The location was great, but it was a 5-8 minute walk from where we had to pick up our key, so it was a haul because we had a TON of luggage and 2 people in their 70s. But staff helped us with our luggage, and our departure taxi met us nearer to the apartm

Simple sleek minimal style accomodation. We had attic apartment and were pleasantly surprised to find a great outdoor terrace with loungers and table and stools. Great views amongst the rooftops of the barri gothic. Felt safe and secure. Helpful staff around most of the day. Pretty high up with massive drop off terrace so perhaps not great if your kids are naughty and don't listen to your absolute rules re looking over the edge!
