  Receptionist were so nice and helpful. Also it was safe at the hotel, since La Rambla is not so safe at night the hotel locked their doors. Also loved the central location.   Right in the middle of the Gothic district, we walked to most of the great sights in Barcelona! The room was very basic (clean, very firm bed and a clean bathroom with a great shower!) There was a lift and a nice entry area with a beverage vending machine. We had room 308 at the end of the hall. This can be noisy in the wee hours of the night due to party goers coming back from the discos (and even a drunk old neighbor com - Great hotel and location in the heart of Barcelona old town (Barri Gotic), very clean and comfortable (rooms cleaned every day, spotless!), in fact cleaner than a lot of the 3 star hotels I've stayed in. Friendly and helpful staff. I cannot fault this hotel and will book again. Highly recommended!!!

  Nice clean hotel, close to all the action and the metro. Situated in a back lane, it was very quiet. There was an elevator from the first floor upwards. There was also a community refrigerator to keep things cold. Grocery store and breakfast was available close by on the street itself. The staff was very friendly and courteous. On previous visits I have stayed in one of the apartments - very good. All the rooms are spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable. Big bathroom, again spotlessly clen.
