  Excellent location close to Atocha station, walking distance to the three big museums (and the city center, if you like a bit of a hike), supermarket at the corner. The hotel is on a quiet side street; there was absolutely no street noise.   The hotel was what I would consider a 5 star. The decor were very modern, very comfortable, immaculate. The shower was spacious and had three different shower heads. A nice touch for the weary traveler.   This was a genuine 4 star hotel at a 2 star rate - Excellent! Whilst not in the centre of town, it is near huge park areas which are really nice - It was close to the metro, the train station and the main attractions. We were able to walk to the main attractions.

  Location, location, location! The apartment was great. It met all our needs. It was clean and very functional. Also, Jose Manuel was a great host! He gave us all the information we needed. He went above and beyond what was expected. My daughter's luggage was misplaced by the airline. Thank you so much Jose Manuel! You made our Madrid vacation - The owner was very accommodating. The location was very near market places and metros.
