  A modern hotel in a fairly quiet residential area on the outskirts of the city. 10 - 15 minute walk from the beach - we didn't see one tacky tourist shop in the area - but an exellent shopping mall with supermarket and restaurants only a 3 minute walk away. The bed was comfortable and the decor was neutral, which we liked. Hot water, air conditioning and the television were perfect and we could even open the windows to get fresh air when needed. The staff spoke perfect english and they were super accomodating. they lent us an umbrella to go out, kept our luggage in storage because we showed up early and even got us a room earlier than we were supposed too. room service food was very good.
