Good facilities, I read some reviews before booking, I am pleased I did
not believe them all as my 7 day stay was extremely acceptable. Good
secure parking, excellent access to accomodation, clean comfortable,
well equiped rooms. Very friendly multi lingual staff. I would suggest
asking for a room as far away as possible from the resident north

Modern apartments with adequate self catering. Good location with short walk to the Old Town. Bilbao has an excellent tram system and Metro, so traveling around is easy. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The staff and the showers - I was at Hotel Bilbi for a day in December 08.It was a nice place to stay, warm and quiet. A few steps away from the river, the old town centre. My room was excellent, very good price value ratio. Friendly and very helpful staff, they gave best info at any time.I'll return to Bilbi Jan 09 and ever so.

It was next to the old town which was within 10mins walk of the hotel (although up a hill on the way home). We felt the old town had a lovely buzz in the evening, very Spanish and not many tourists.
The hotel was very clean, and paying 50 euros a night made the hotel extremely good value for money.
The hotel is about 15-20 mins from the airport,

This was a stop for convenience for us before getting the ferry early
next day. It was easy to find and park and easy to get to the port in 30
minutes. The parking was secure and the room large and comfortable
though a bit impersonal. Due to time restrictions we ate at the hotel
which was fine.....not outstanding but quite good and suited us for the
last night in Spain.

First we were surprised that it was not a separate building, it is only one floor in a big building and the owners are living there. The room was small, but there was a bathroom inside, and was nicely furnished and clean! There were also shampoos and gel which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately we didn’t receive a room with balcony to the square,

Beautiful bars and rest -
We were on the Camino del Norte and Bilbao was our last stop on this segment . this pension is ideally located beside the Cathedral on the Old City and on the route forward. We intend to stay here again when we resume the Camino next year. The shopping districts and indeed the Guggenheim were only a short walk away (say 15 minutes to 25 minutes) while there was plenty of restaurants etc in the Old City. A very helpful and obliging host in this Pension.

The location of the Alicia ZZZ B&B is excellent, in the center of the old city and within walking distance of the Guggenheim museum. The rooms are simple, but modern. Perfect for budget travellers! -

in English. The outside of the pension has p** on it even though the

Location couldn't have been better, right in the old town. Staff were lovely, though English isn't really spoken they will do their best to communicate. Room was really nice. Breakfast isnt' fancy but it is adequate (Tea, coffee, toast, ceral and pastry) Entry is via buzzer only and you need to leave room key in reception when you leave.

This didn't feel like any other hotel, it was like you were staying
in someone's home - from the decor to the breakfast to the way we
were treated. The double room we got was very comfortable and it looked

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful (and
spoke excellent English). The room was so homey-it was nice to go out in
the rain and go "home" to a warm and comfortable room. The
heaters worked quickly and the room was large and clean. The breakfast
in the morning was good-tea/coffee and an assortment of bread
products (and fruit and yogurt, if desired). We wish we had more time to
explore Bilbao and stay in this comfortable hotel. We found it to be
