The hotel is a little jewel in the middle of the old town, just behind
the Alcazar and the Cathedral, overlooking a beautiful little cobbled
square, lined with orange trees. It doesn't get any more central

The situation of the hotel is unique. Close to the entrance of the Alcazar, it faces a small, lovely, quiet square. The roof top terrace gives you the best view of the famous Giralda clock tower of the Cathedral. Breakfast in the morning and drinks at night are served on the roof top terrace. The sangria there was the best I had on my trip to Andalucia. On the door of each room is a city scene painted by a local artist. The service is extremely helpful and kind. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was very helpful. The location was amazing. Definitely have an evening drink at the roof top bar. It was a spectacular view. - location was amazing! Breakfast buffet was quite good, but not as varied as others. The hotel staff was professional and very helpful.

The Fontecruz is a very elegant and well kept and when you get you seem to leave the world behind. Enter a muffled world, the atmosphere is wonderful. The rooms are neat and beautiful and important thing are the most comfortable beds. Beautiful terrace and the pool but we did not use because the temperature did not allow it.

Perfect location, design of the hotel.
Parking: This is not a downside of the hotel, but be prepared that it is indeed as difficult as described by others! The hotel can be found easily with a gps, but the streets are extremely (!) narrow, and it is very likely that you need to back out about 300 m unless driving a really small car. There is absolutely no parking in front of the hotel or in a street nearby, making the hotel a quiet and peaceful place in the ancient city.

The Hotel far exceeded the expectations we had, the website information did not really do it justice. the staff were incredible, the hotel just beautiful.....if the website gave more pictures of the incredible forecourts within the hotel walls......thwy would certainly be at full capacity quickley. convenient to visitor sites, shopping and restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff at reception. The gentleman at reception got us information on Granada and interesting sites to see. - A perfectly located hotel 5 minutes from the cathedral, but in a quiet alley with an attractive central patio. Excellent on all points.

Great place to stay in Barrio Santa Cruz - especially during Semana Santa with a paso right in front of the hotel. Everything in relative ease walking distance. Wireless in rooms and computers in the lobby. We passed on the expensive breakfast, since so many places to eat closeby - cheaper too. Comparable to a nicer Courtyard Marriott. Would defini

The room we were allocated was ideal for travelling with older children as it was spacious. The use of the internet helped them to contact their friends. The decor is sophisticated.

The service was excellent, lots of suggestions for places to eat which all turned out to be very good.
The location was great, just a few minutes walk to the cathedral and shops right in the middle of town.
