We had a wonderful experience of staying in Mar Blava!
First of all, it is located in a very nice part of Ciutadella, on the rocky bank of a small bay, and you can go down to the sea, sit on the rocks, sunbathe, swim and enjoy the beautiful landscape without leaving the hotel's territory. It is also 10 minutes from the center, bus station and in

if you are a budget traveller, I highly recommend this place in Minorca. Perfect position, close to Ciutadella city centre, very close to a cheap supermarket and a self service laundry, and on the way to the most beautiful "cale" of the Island. The staff were just so super lovely.. You walk in and are greeted with
such a warm smile. They were more than happy to give directions, suggest
places to go.. In fact the woman at the front desk spent so much time
helping us with maps that we felt like we had a personal assistant!
The room was clean, comfortable and the bed was comfy.. The shared bathroom was clean also. No complaints!

Everything!!! We spent a wonderful week there. The stuff is amazing helpful, the food was really good, especially breakfast. The nicest beaches of the island is rather close (max 10 km). We do recommend this hotel for holidays or romantic weekend. Thank you! -

The setting is stunning with the very attractive house set in lovely gardens and away from noise and hassle, but it is near enough to the main routes and to the charming town of Cuitadella to be convenient for everything one needs in Menorca. The owner (or manager) of the hotel is one of the kindest person I have ever met! He was extremely helpful and flexible! The hotel is really close to the center of Ciutadella and to the sea as well, but for the nearest beach you need to walk some minutes (which is really few in Menorca!). The location was quiet and friendly as well! Really nice ch

I think I read some reviews saying the beds were comfy, and yes I did find the beds comfortable. It's a good value for money hostal with very helpful staff. Staffs were friendly and helpful. The bedding and bathroom were clean. Seems like they are cleaning the room every day. Perfect for the price...I got a bed in a 10 person dormitory for about 10Euro per night when I was in Barcelona; Here I pay 2-3Euro more, I get a private room, clean bathroom plus room service.
