El Cortijo del Pino is a converted 19th-century farmhouse in la Vega de Granada, the farmland outside Granada. It has attractive gardens with a pool, dovecote and sun terrace.
The self-service apartments at El Cortijo combine traditional architecture with modern interiors. Each one is equipped with under-floor heating, a fireplace and DVD player. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine.
You can drive to central Granada in around 10 minutes. Here you can find the Alhambra Palace and the Moorish quarter of Albayzín, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

How we loved this place! Cannot imagine a better place to stay in Granada. You feel completely at the countryside, very quit and all green, while you are in 15 minutes by car downtown Granada. Authentic, pure, simple, great atmosphere, truly romantic. Lovely swimming pool with view on snow tops of the mountains. Beautiful house. We could have stayed there much longer. Very sweet owner. We loved our five day stay despite some poor weather. Concha and her family made us feel very welcome and helped us with information and a good map. The underfloor heating worked very well and the log fire was great also. Large double story apartment with everything you could need.
Nothing, great value for little money.
We liked everything but you do need a car to drive the five minutes into Granada.

Please note, El Cortijo del Pino can be accessed via the following route:
Take exit 129 off the A-44 Granada Highway. At the roundabout, take the exit for Eudoxia Piriz and cross the bridge over the River Genil. Turn immediately right after the bridge towards GR-3303 in the direction of Churriana de la Vega. At exit km 3, turn right towards Camino Viejo de Cullar. Then follow signs for El Cortijo del Pino.
