  From the moment we arrived Bixen, the owner, made us feel very welcome. The room was large, clean and the bed do comfortable. The views are fabulous, but you need to go to appreciate how pretty it is and quiet. Too tip, it is off the beaten track but follow the signs for Higer (lighthouse) which is not around the coast as I thought and you will so... τι λέει ο κόσμος » on see signs for 'Higeralde' on your left. Bixon will guide you if lost. You will not get a better view and just sitting out eating breakfast on the t - The facilities, room and situation are unbeatable. Overlooks east to the Spanish (Hondaribbia) and French (Hendaye) towns. The owner / host is a young enthusiastic, energetic, charming and helpful man... Etc...this is a fantastic place to stay and explore the intriquing Basque area. It is a bit hard to find. Set the sat nav to find the (also excellent) 'Arroka berri' restaurant.   Ignacio and his wonderful "team" was a credit to this small friendly hotel,nothing was to much trouble,they looked after us splendidly ,even providing a superb meal,even though the restaurant was closed ( we arrived very late after driving 800 k!) Very good room, completely upgraded, good beds, clean bathroom, perfect shower. Next morning we took a breakfast. Lot of choice, everything fresh and looked great. We travel a lot and this is a hotel to remember for the next time!

  Pension is really great. It is constructed inside the building that is surrounded by factories, but inside it's looking amazing. The owner is great person. He was building pension for five years by himself and he did a great job! He waited for us until 3 a.m. in the morning and allowed us to check out at 3 p.m. because of it. He also gave us gifts... τι λέει ο κόσμος » :) It's 4-5 km from San Sebastian center, but if you have a car, it's really no problem... I will come back here next time! - Never judge a book by it's cover! This hotel is built within an old factory so the outside looks horrible but after taking the industrial lift upstairs you enter into another world. Clean, stylish, contemporary design with all the facilities. We used it as a stop over but you could use it as a base to explore the nearby mountains and coast of San Sabastian. The owner is really helpful and friendly and gave us maps and advice.
