We really enjoyed our stay at Basse Provence. It is a beautiful house nestled amongst the vineyards and with a great view of the mountains. We had a fantastic stay at Basse Provence. The location is beautiful, surrounded by the winelands and the mountains and the accommodation itself was wonderful. Our room was spacious and under the thatched roof and the staff were very helpful. This was our favourite place to stay whilst we were in South Africa and we would thoroughly recommend it!

My boyfriend and I spent two night here and found it to be easily accessible to all areas of interest as well as the downtown area. Staff was friendly and host was informative and friendly. Wonderful treat to take a swim and wi-fi access was great. Breakfast in the morning was top notch, room was clean and fully equipped for tea, coffee as well

Earthbound B&B was an amazing place to stay. We were greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel as though we were at home. The room was very tastefully furnished, very spacey and extremely comfortable. A lovely and very tasty breakfast was served in a basket right to our room. Wish we could come back in the summer to enjoy the pool and all the awesome outdoor space. One of the best stays on our whole journey. Highly recommended!!

location and pool and gardens - Smily and friendly staff. Great breakfast, fab views and nice big pool. Secure grounds with electric gate w/ night security was a benefit as I was travelling solo. A lovely stay and a short walk to gorgeous beaches of Camps Bay

in South Africa and the De Hoek rates as one of our best and most

The personal touches were very nice (e.g., turn-down service that included port). Check-in was incredibly efficient -- we were in our room within about 45 seconds. The location in downtown Stellenbosch is fantastic -- across the street from a beautiful church and just one block from dozens of cafes and restaurants. And, of course, it's convenient to tons of wineries. Breakfast was served promptly, was delicious, and included everything one could want. This is a great guest house.

Everything - there is nothing not to like. From the moment we arrived (honeymoon couple) we received such a warm welcome and Ericka had upgraded our room to the honeymoon suite. The place is pristine with comfortable beds, fab décor, full of character, formal yet informal, and a wow breakfast. It is minutes away from the beach on foot! The owners and staff of this Guest House made us very welcome. The room was furnished to a high standard and all the facilities were immaculately maintained. This lovely old home with high pressed ceilings and a lovey view of the mountains and church was right in the middle of town. We could walk everywhere and the advice on places to visit from our very friendly hosts was great. The breakfast was also very good and set us up for a day of touring.
