I intentionally left all the scores at Excellent because that was exactly my experience of this place. I felt at home, yet private enough to go about as I wanted. I like the area - it is safe and very quiet. And even though it may look a bit far from everything else in PE, it really only takes you just over 10 minutes to get anywhere. It will certa

What can i say.... this place was amazing, owners were lovely. Very knowledgable and you can tell they enjoy what they do. And they do it VERY WELL.
Breakfast was amazing, fresh bread homemade jams, try the ginger&melon.
Our room was fantastic, lovely themed room. Safari lodge.

- Very helpful and pleasant owners and staff
- Great Addo tour operated by owners themselves
- Very helpful on booking extra safaris nicely complementing the Addo one
- Etta has deep knowledge about history of Addo, flora, and of course animals
- Great breakfast with tomato marmelade (besides about 10 other flavors)

Our last knight was spent at Algoa Guest House. The reception was very friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast area was small but charming the breakfast excellent. Our host always tried to help and be of service. We have been to many B&Bs on our round trip and this was one of the best. -

The owner Adri was just wonderful. The place is beautiful with attention to every detail yet welcoming like your family. We lacked for nothing. The room is beautiful and the breakfast delicious. We had to leave early and were given breakfast to go in a beautiful package. You do not get this kind of service for that price anywhere, excellent value!

The luxury suite downstairs. We stayed on valentine's night and the extra room space was worth it. Our patio doors went straight onto the BBQ area and pool. The upstairs breakfast room was amazing. We had a free shuttle to the waterfront and an amazing 3 course valentine's dinner.

We loved staying in the rondavels! The whole setting of the property is very pretty. We wished we could have stayed for more than one night! Rather fun staying in the thatched round cottages, and they had everything you could need including en-suite shower and electrics of course. We were self catering and there is a very well equipped kitchen in the main house together with lounge area and plenty of seating. Very good restaurant adjacent, too. Really helpful and friendly landlord.

I have yet to visit any other guest house so service orientated to your personal needs. How many Guest houses cater breakfasts to your needs, gives you flowers when you are going through a grief period, and has staff cleaning out the bedroom because you left your memory card in the car - Amazing -

On arrival had a great welcome from Anya. Dinner as requested which was tasty chicken pie. Got to see some buffalo out in their reserve which was a nice surprise. Breakfast to die for kept us going for the day. Beautiful home and thanks for making us so welcome. Lovely bottle of bubbly in our room when we arrived again lovely touch. -

We booked the Victoria and Alfred Guest House randomly because it was close to Port Elisabeth Airport. We just wanted a pad for the night but it exceed expectations with a very comfortable room and en suite facilities, helpful staff and a splendid breakfast. The shops, waterfront, restaurants and a welcoming golf course were a short drive away. -

The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The manager phoned to find out what time we'd be checking in, and if there was anything special we'd like in the minibar. My wife wasn't feeling well, and he arranged a special vegetarian meal for us.The room was great, the service excellent and the food was delicious.
