The restaurant was very good - food, value for money and staff. For our one night stay, it was ideal. The room (appartment) was well appointed and would have been great for a longer stay. - Service

There is an open plain bath tub in the executive rooms. That's one of the reasons why I come back to this hotel regularly.
If I book via letsbookhotel.com and not expedia, I will get breakfast included :) -

Marco was very professional and polite. He made me feel welcomed, even offering free beers! The staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was cooked to order and was very fresh and high quality, like cage-free eggs.

The location was not too far from most of the sights of interest to tourists. -
Perfect stay for my recent business trip. Secure and easy access to come and go as I please and a perfect location for a early morning jog before a delicious breakfast. Friendly, helpful owners, great room and lots of attention to detail. Also has a homely feel, instead of clinical hotel. Everything I needed and more. Thanks!

The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. And of course the lovely friendly dogs. -

There are also a number of restaurants/bars closer to the guest house if you didn't want to go further afield every night. I would happily visit again.

We stayed three nights at B.I.G. in one of the worst downpours, with
hail, seen by Cape Town in years. This managed to mess up our plans....
But due to Amilion, Linda, Tulua, and Amy, we were able to have a
wonderful time anyway. When we first arrived, Amilion (spelling?)
suggested we go immediately to see Kirstenbosh due to the pending bad
weathe

We were welcomed with a traditional South African braii - barbecue! How much better can you get to meet everyone and get comfortable with the Cape Town groove?! We loved the staff - from the owner to the housekeepers - they really took good care of us while allowing us to still enjoy the "backpacker-style" of lodging. They helped us plan our days to use our time and $$ so we could get to do all the things we hoped to enjoy in our 5 nights stay. The Dave Matthews Band concert brought us 8,000

The location was great, close enough to all the activity but not so
close that you are woken up or disturbed. The room was clean and the
majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Clean, comfortable, well kitted out rooms in a great area of Cape Town. Easy walk to the waterfront. Very accommodating given I was unwell during my stay. Free parking right outside. Excellent value for money.
