Hostel Pekarna is set in Maribor, right next to Magdalenski Park. Featuring free bike rental and free parking, it offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned accommodation units. The Drava River is 400 metres away. All accommodation units comprise vivid colours and hardwood floors. In addition to this, all apartments and studios come with an LCD satellite TV and a kitchen or kitchenette. A terrace with mountain views is at guests’ disposal. A common living area with an LCD cable TV and a fully equipped kitchen is available. A wide selection of refreshing drinks and snacks can be found at the on-site bar and in the vending machines. A restaurant is 70 metres away. A grocery shop is at a distance of 100 metres. Maribor’s centre, with its Gothic Maribor Cathedral and Renaissance City Hall is 500 metres away. A bus and a train stop are at a distance of 50 metres. Maribor Main Bus and Train Station is within 1.5 km. Pohorje Mountain is 2 km from the Pekarna Hostel.

Have stayed in different hotels in Maribor over the last years but this one is my favourite. Close to the center, no parking problems, great value for money, nice atmosphere, great personel. Only minus may be the lack of breakfast but there are a few bakeries nearby and at restaurant Cantante a block away they serve great bruchettas from 9 o'clock. Maribor is very quaint little town with lots of history, it takes very little time to walk around the centre, through the parks and even up to the vineyards if you are relatively fit and healthy. The hostel itself is excellent - clean, spacious, great facilities and close to town, not to mention unbelievable value for money.
όλα τα σχόλια » New, bright and cheerful, spacious accommodation - The apartment had 2 separate comfortable rooms (students layout: 2 single beds, two separate desks) and a well equipped kitchen, with a large flat screen television - Excellent value for money - We would stay there again. I liked everything except the noise from neighbours - loud music on friday and saturday, thats why i couldnt sleep. Otherwise was happy with the rest, I liked the appartment a lot =). Nice, brand new building quite close to the city center. I recommend it if someone would like to visit Marbior and looking for cheap accommodation. For a hostel, it's very nice and clean. Better than expected. Nice staff, good English. Relaxed atmosphere. Loved the balcony. Affordable. Hostel was very clean and had so many facilities like free computers and cheap beverage bar. clean, modern, fully equipped apparments; safe place; polite English speaking staff. great staff and clean hotel.did not use the facilities but they looked good. excellent hostel, very clean dorms, one of the best i have ever stayed. Coffee. hard to leave. Do not expect to be overloaded with information as you walk around the sites of the town unless you want to pay for a guided tour. not very easy to find. Not recommended for a family or for longer stay - too spartan for that. Internet was almost unusable. Rather hot in the summer. Only a few meters from railway track + students = noisy. Separate beds (that was as-advertised, though). Everything was okay. everything ok. nothing. Location was slightly out of the centre, walking was fine without bags. An oven or microwave would have made preparing food easier in the apartment but we coped!. trains passing by. The fact that we had light poring in our faces at 6 am. Bad directions. The street isn't even an actual street and people around the hostel barely know where it is. The hostel should definitely help travelers to find them. Perfect otherwise!. Bathroom in room might be wee annoying. Staffs seem like didn't know much about the city. 20euro deposit for games, hair dryer is far too much. We did not get the room that was confirmed to be reserved at the booking web page, but instead we got some another room that we did request.
