A hotel within a country club
The well maintained Residence is located on the third floor of a country club in town, and comprises of 26 rooms and 2 suites, facing either the Padang (cricket lawn) or the city. The swimming pool which is located at the corner of the basement, which feels like a pond within a cave.
Cleanliness did not disappoint.

The hotel is in a great location in the colonial district kitty corner
to Raffles Hotel, walking distance to Singapore Flyer, subway, Hop On
Hop Off Bus, countless shopping centres and restaurants, the river and
boat quay, Marina Bay Sands Hotel and much more. There was a fair bit of
traffic noise as our room overlooked the front road...mainly seemed like
background type noise and didn't disturb our sleep. Somewhat odd
room. The hotel rooms are on the third floor, upper level of the club.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is very central. Taxis always available at front of hotel. Very pleasant stay! Great great Staff! Very helpful and polite.
I was asking for an adress, a young Singaporian Lady at the front desk googled the adress and handed me a printed map of how to get there from the hotel!
I will never forget this act of kindness!

We had one bedroom,1 livingroom,2(!) tv's,very clean and comfortable bathroom.The hotelstaff was extremely friendly and helpful.Breakfast was very good as well.Stayed in hotels over the whole world,but this one was 1 of the best i stayed in and all that for a very,very good price. - Everything

Location is excellent, 10-15 minute walk to Marina Bay etc. Lovely walk down too. Staff were great. Yes the rooms are small but it wasn't a problem for us - we spent more time enjoying the city and the hotel was mostly used as a place to get our heads down. People have mentioned about the toilet getting wet when you shower, the bathroom is more of

I stayed for 2 night with my wife and my daughter...overall good
..especially cleaness, quietness, all equipment running well ....air

etc and very near with shopping center...just across the street for
sight seeing or dinner in high or cheap price.... More than that mrt
station just a few step. Room size small, but I think this is normal
for S'pore ...the only country with expensive living cost in
south east asia

I've stayed at Swissotel Merchant court a few times before this and still think its one of the best hotels. The hotel was excellent for the money. My room was clean, spacious and

We stayed in this hotel because it was only 20S$ more expensive than the backpacker hotel we stayed first.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was big and we even had a window!
The pool is very nice, although the view is nothing special.
Our flight was late at night and we could store our luggage and they even offered us to take a shower before we left for the airport! This is a great service that I have not yet experienced.

Park Royal on Beach road is an exceptional property and the rate that Igot through LetsBookHotel.com was really excellent. My stay was exceptionaland as with the other Park Royal hotels in Singapore, the gym and therestaurants are exceptional. - Good service, interesting location. We were on a single night stopover and it was perfect for that.

I love that hotel is till new and every thing is still fresh and clean.

The room is tight with wall to wall bed but its really intimate and perfect for a couple and the high ceiling in the rooms remove the claustrophobic feel the room will give.

Iarrived into SG very early in the morning, and check in time wasn't until 2pm, but I still rock up at the hotel at 6.30am. The staff was very friendly and helpful to have me organized. The room is clean, modern and cozy. Bedding and linen are so comfy that I could sleep soundly. Very convenient for everything, especially Chinatown which we loved. 5 mins walk to the metro- perfect with children - Proximity to river and China town good. Staff very helpful and was offered an upgrade. Chose the hotel as I had stayed at the other Furama before and was very impressed by it.

Really great location, standards for Ibis acommodation: comfy beds, small but well equipped room. The price was a bit higher than usual for Ibis but compared to other fares in Singapore it was extremely acceptable. Food in the restaurant is really great and the breakfast is great as well (might be worth the 18SGD!). Wifi worked fine in room (5th floor). They got me late check-out until 14h and kept my bags until 20h, very convenient.
