The Anchikov has only a few rooms and the staff really treat all of their guests like a kings and queens. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left the staff did everything to make my stay a pleasurable one. For example, I had problems getting my rail tickets confirmed online and was about to purchase new tickets if the staff had not worked

The staff were superb and always on hand to help. The location was ideal and meant that everything in the historic heart of the city was within walking distance. The water cooler was very handy!

Our apartment was on Malaya Morskaya Street, 16, it was very clean and
had all the house things you need, from bedsheets towels soups shampo,
all kitchen needs, the internetnet was free of charge and very good
connection, the location is 5 min walk to the hermitage and other
tourist areas which was great. Excellent appartment -

The hotel is situated very centrally at a walking distance from sights and metro stops. The interior is beautiful, the paintings in passages and rooms a nice touch. My single room was smallish but not at all claustrophobic. The bed was really comfortable with luxurious bedclothes. Good location - close to the river, especially convenient to watch Liteyny bridge raise (it is 1 min walk). Please note that rooms overlooking Liteyny prospekt have the best view, but are noisy. Very clean. Cosy bar. Metro is 3 min walk and gets you to the railway station in 1 stop. Perfect hotel for a city trip. -

A very good hotel in an excellent location with great staff. Close to everything, suitable for sighseeing. The rooms were clean with all basic amenities. The staff was more than helpful on every request we had. ATM inside the hotel and 24h supermarket nearby also very convinient.Recommended as value for money. -

The hotel is great for business visit, near Metro, Moscow Train station and convinient to travel to/from Moscow. Location is fine to see the city. It's good choice for 1-2 nights stop. I arrived at 10 am and the stuff kindly checked me in, no questions asked.

The level of staff service and support was the best we have ever encountered. My wife lost her bag in the taxi from the airport ...being Russia we gave up any hope of getting it back. The hotel staff moved into action immediately, sent their driver to the airport and made sure we got it back ( within a few hours). They didn't have to do that but were genuinely concerned. The room, the breakfast, the location on Nevsky Prospekt, closeness to the metro ...just perfect.

The rooms are excellent - spacious and quiet altough facing the Nevsky Prospekt. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The location is perfect - the Tube station is very close to the hotel, a big shopping centre Stokmann is withing 5min walk and there is a great restaurant ont he last floor - Restaurant Moskva.

safe and personable. -
It is an apartment located in an old building but with new and very nice facilities. Just across the street from the Hermitage. The price was a little over, but still in a very reasonable range comparing it with traditional hotels in the same area. Each room has a new bathroom, and there is a share kitchen fot only four rooms. The personal is very attentive. Excellent choice.
