This small, family run guesthouse (like a B&B) was perfect for us, two women traveling alone. It is a flat, safe, picturesque three-four block walk from the Plaza de Armas, next to the Qorikancha, with easy access to public transportation. After entering the first courtyard, one must ring the bell to be allowed entrance to the locked, very safe guesthouse courtyard, which is quaint and lovely. Friendly and efficient staff: Katherine pick us up from train station to the guesthouse, she also explained places to go in Cuzco and helped us booked taxi to train station to Machu Picchu and airport. The lady who cooked breakfast for us and took care of our laundry was nice. 2. Convenient location: 1 minute walk to Santo Domingo 3. Interesting experience of living in Inca style house 4. Budget friendly. Clean, beautiful everywhere you look, staff helped organise all our trips and transfers to all our bus and plain travel. Lovely and warm, quiet, private, beautiful breaky, tea to help with altitude sickness availabke 24/7, great location, perfect accommodation in cusco. Is close to everything and you do not have the need to take taxis to visit the most important places in the city. The staff attends all your needs and you feel like home. The lady owner is a valuable resource in accomplishing your goals in the vacation. They offered extra services at no extra charge. Like storing our luggage for 5 days while we went to Machu Picchu, and offering us breakfast an hour early on the day we checked out in time for us to eat before leaving on a 10 hour bus trip. The staff. The were extremely helpful in planning our stay not only at their hotel, but in booking tours, helping laundry, etc. Anything we asked of them they were more than happy to help. The family room/loft was beautiful...very big, huge TV and very large bathroom. It also had double doors that opened up to a balcony facing the inner courtyard. The breakfast was great. Good price for 4 people and the room was so nice. Also the staff was nice they offer various tea 24 hours. And it was easy to get to the center. Everything was perfect!. Very comfortable guesthouse close to main square in Cuzco. Helpful staff. Nicely decorated room. They provided a heater when I asked for it. Very friendly staff. Provided unlimited coco tea which is a must whilst climatising! Also arranged 5am breakfast before Inca trail. The size of the rooms meant that you couldn't really unpack and had to live out of your suitcase/backpack. We stayed 3 nights in the guesthouse, hot water supply was stopped around midnight but not resumed after 6am, we went through to find their staff to turn on the water boiler. It's caused inconvenience to us as we need to leave early for excursion. Nothing everything was great. Nothing. Nothing. All the stairs you had to climb to get there. The entry to the hotel is a bit confusing. You enter the courtyard and on the far wall you will see the sign for the hotel. however, you must then reach through the gate to the left and push the intercom button (which is not labeled). Nothing. The breakfast room can be a bit too small during busy periods. The paint on the bathroom wall peeling off, and a bit noisy - right in the way of other guests. None. The rooms were cold at night, they should have some heating installed. The noisy vacationers upstairs in this old wooden building. Room is cold in the morning. Toilet was not working well. Nothing. None its great. .but very hard to fine in the dark. Not a lot if interaction from staff. Felt it was very good to look at but no real warmth about the place. It was quite cold and damp in the room. Old, warn-out, staff don't speak English, hostel style rather than a hotel.

Please note breakfast is not included in Non Refundable rates. Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee. Foreign business travelers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.
