La Morada is located in the heart of the bohemian district San Blas, just a short walk from central Plaza de Armas square. It provides fully equipped duplex accommodation. The bedrooms here are elegant, with pictures on the walls. Some feature exposed brick walls. Each apartment and suite comes with a private bathroom with free toiletries and hairdryer, a kitchenette, LCD TV and DVD player. Some provide city views. The day begins with an American breakfast. Drinks and refreshments can be purchased at the snack bar and enjoyed on the sun terrace. Restaurants and bars are found around the corner from La Morada Suites. A free airport pick-up service is available upon request. Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco is a 10-minute drive from La Morada Suites. The property is located at the top of one block of stairs from San Blas Square.

Gorgeous location! Booked the apartment that had 5 beds and it was very spacious and well laid out. This was the best hotel we stayed at during our 22 day trip through Ecuador & Peru! Staff was very friendly and helpful when we arrived a free shuttle taxi was sent to the airport to pick us up and they helped us the following morning in arranging a taxi to the train station. Breakfast was also really good and was brought to your room. There is also a list of things you can order from roo.

Actually my brother's leg had a problem so we had to get a crutch but we didn't know where we could get it so the owner and staffs helped us finally we could get it. thank you so much!! we still use the crutch really well : ) . Anyway I highly recommend this hostal. Everything was perfect. !!!. Best hotel on our journey, very freindly staff, nice and very helpful stuff, excelent breakfest. wonderfull view from the terasse all over the town. We woul liek to go there once again and can recommend it very much to all visitors of Cusco. Staff were extremely helpful and made numerous calls to Lima and the airport to help us recover our lost baggage. breakfast was second to none location was excellent with fantastic views over the city. Would highly recommend staying here. This hotel was a GREAT value for the money. Rooms were great, staff was helpful. They even bring you breakfast to your room every morning. The San Blas district is really neat and we loved being able to view the city lights at night. The staff were very welcoming and accomodating. The rooms were spacious and facilities were available in the kitchenette. The view was stunning from my window. The hotel staff carried my luggage to and from the hotel to the taxi stop. 1/ Service from night shift staff: we were very lucky to be welcomed by Julio who happened to act with a very professional and dedicated manner 2/ Location: Great location (just off San Blas Church) with beautiful views over Cusco City. Great ambiance, very nice rooms with a nice and professional staff. Amazing view of the city. The access was supposed to be a problem but it hardly was after we got past the soroche. Strongly recommend for a great experience in Cuzco. La Morada was amazing. Great value for money, beautiful suite, and a great view! Waking up there was like waking up in a fairytale. Superb location, as long as you don't mind a short walk uphill - take it easy at the high elevation. Make sure you see the museum in the Convento de Santo Domingo - some truly extraordinary items. The rooms are gorgeous, we had room 9 overlooking the terrace and town. The beds and bedding are devine. Staff so lovely and breakfast was fresh and delicious. We wanted to book longer but they were all booked up. First the staff. They were so helpful with so many aspects of our trip. The view. Our window overlooked the city of Cusco. There also was a patio outside our room which overlooked the city of Cusco. Clever architecture neatly integrating the facility into the surrounding neighborhood. Great views from patio. Plenty of eateries nearby. Nicely furnished, good bedding, tv, etc. room size was great it's a boutique hotel with all you need very handy the condition of the amenities where great breakfast was great main plaza just a few blocks aways. It was located in a nice part of town, not too far away to walk to the town center. Great view, sat outside for breakfast which was delicious, order the scrambled eggs you get more. The location (though negative also because it is not accessible by car...!), and the layout of the hotel and rooms. Excellent breakfast service!. we did not miss anything. Stayed in June room was cold. We were fine with this but the hotel is a ways up a hill and may be hard for some travelers to get to. The hotel is not accessible by car and you will need to walk the stairs for 3 to 5 minutes from the tsxi stop to the hotel. Breakfast: offered as a buffet; food is good and the panel of choices would need to be expended. Wifi wasn´t the best, but it was ok. There was a bit of a hike to get up there, which in general was very nice and I liked it, and because of that you had the great view! But unfortunately my mother got altitude sickness in Cusco, so the hike made it worse for her. Guests with early morning light sensitivity syndrome - EMLSS :) will need a good eye mask for sleeping beyond dawn - there's no way to keep light out of the room. Wake-up call didn't happen, so use your own backup alarm/s if needed. If I had to say something, it would be that due to the location, if you have mobility issues this is not a good place for you to stay as there are many stairs to walk up with your luggage to reach the place. We struggled with young ones in strollers. Although the location in the San Blas district was nice, there were sooooo many stairs to climb to get there. I do think the trade-off of climbing was was worth all the positives!. Nothing serious... As has been mentioned, the closest a motor vehicle can come is about 2 blocks, and it is uphill from there -- but the staff will help with luggage, etc., dodging dog feces all the way. Buffet breakfast only so-so, no more room service (that we could ascertain anyway). Shower valve is very far from shower head so any temperature adjustment you make will take a long time to "kick in". in the room you can have a book with info about good restaurants near by, or recommend activities in the area. A bit of a hike to reach the villas which did not worry us. They arrange free airport pick up & return. Although the cab driver tried to charge us for the return when we reached the airport & refused to call the hotel to confirm this is included. The breakfasts could be improved but still not bad. Wish they had a gift shop with essentials. None. Noise from the other rooms and public areas could be heard through the walls. hotel is set up a steep hill, which can be an undertaking to get to. I would have preferred a bigger breakfast. the stairs in the room. there was only one mirror in the room. some steps to get to get there.Rest. The safe is not secured to a wall meaning it stands free so anyone can steal it...Also you have an amazing view because you have to hike far up to get there. Fine for young people like me but definitely not for the elderly. The street to the hotel is not open to traffic .You need to walk a bit after you leave taxi . Lack of car access to the hotel. None. Stay here. the view is fantastic, but the hill to arrive at the hotel is very difficult the first day when you try to acclimatize to altitude. Bit steep to get to the hotel, but the view is worth it when you get there. The hotel is located on a steep hill making it a bit out of the way. It was a pain to walk from center city to the hotel after dinner. However, it's a great way to lose some weight. Its a little hard to find and get to but not a big problem. Little bit cold in the rooms during the nights. Location is not Convenient. I wouldnt be able to find a single thing!. Did not like the design of the room, bedroom upstairs, bathroom down, very inconvenient. Very disappointed with staff, they left me waiting and never came at a bus station at 9:30 at night, I am a single woman. It was hard to find the hotel in the dark. I made arrangements, they forgot. The credit card machine for Master card did not work had to use a lot of my cash. Very cold room, the heater could not heat it up dunring our 2-day stay. The fact that we had to drag/lift all luggage ca 100m of stairs and old cubble stone roads.

To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. Please note both documents are required for fee exemption.
