LOCATION - Frogner is a very nice part of the city, Close to transport and harbour. Many good restuarants close by. Private and comfortable. Happy I got a 'secret deal' - as it was good value for money. -

Very well run hotel, at a great rate for the centre of Oslo - a few minute walk to most attractions. The room was spotless, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. - Clean, comfortable and good value for Oslo.

We loved the area around Frogner House Apt. Classic historical low buildings, lots of small shops and the tram to downtown. Our corner room was lovely, with space for four: mom and three 15-year old girls. Big TV and Kitchen.

I like the concept: a luxury hotel room with a kitchenette. Good bed, with enough cushons to get cozy. Right around the corner there is a shop open 7-23 and 10 meters further a shop open all night. on 2 min walking distance to the busstop to the center. Nice and safe neighboorhood. Pharmacy around the corner. Some shops in the neighbouring streets.
307 is a large studio in olive and purple with unique old stove. 412 is "large hotelroom size" with green/ brown colors, and a balcony.

Breakfast was one of the best I've ever experienced in a hotel (selection was enough for having at least 4 totally different menus - everything of a very high quality).

- The staff at the desk was friendly - and so helpful. Their dinner recommendations were right on when we asked for an affordable dinner

An absolutely great hotel. A very good value-clean, spacious rooms, great breakfast, located about 1 mile from the city sightseeing center, free coffee and outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable staff. All of their recommendations for restaurants were excellent. I research all my hotels before a stay and this was right on target. I would highly recommend it to anybody. My wife says it made the trip. I agree!

Great location, very close to the city center which you can walk to within 5-10 minutes. I have lived in Oslo 7 years ago and this is my second visit with my family. Because I knew the expensive prices of Norway, I was very satisfied with the price. Also the kitchen and everything was clean and well equiped so I could eat anything from the kitchen

Good communication and the check-in procedure was quite convenient. Was sent an e-mail that the apartment is ready, went to the office and got the keys and a map handed to me.
This is not a luxurious apartment, but the furniture was quite new when I stayed there.
The kitchen is well equipped with tools (pans, knives, a microwave etc.).

The Thon Hotel Gyldenlove is just 10 minutes on foot to the centre. The staff were very nice. The breakfast is very good. The staff is available 24/7, pleasant, and accommodating. Free internet access on a computer situated in the lobby was a plus. Free coffee/tea machine in lobby also a plus, although none in room. Breakfast was excellent, with new weekend hours 8-12. Bed was comfortable. Room clean.
