Coffee, tea, goodies and fruit were available for snacks at noadditional charge during the day. A hardy breakfast was included withour room price. The location was within walking distance to Oslo's newOpera House as well as the train/bus station. The hotel staff helped usbook a taxi to take one person and our group's six suitcases to the busstation

The hotel is situated a mere three minute walk from the central station, which means the location is excellent. For the expensive Oslo accommodation this hotel is really bargain, with excellent service for the price provided. From walking into the lobby and listening to the rock and roll music combined with a lobby looking like no other, I knew my days in Oslo were going to be special. I enjoyed the technology of opening the hotel room and elevator operation to staying in the room watching HDmt. Large room (a double) with modern Scandinavian furniture. New and stylish bath room. Great view at the food market across the street (note that you might end up looking at the apartment block on the opposite side of the building). Nice breakfast buffet in the restaurant downstairs (included in room price) where I also had a very favorably priced (for Oslo standards) meal at night. Probably the best place I've stayed in Oslo. Price-quality ratio is excellent!
