This is an absolute gem and a bargin in an expensive city, my girfriend and I have just returned and were almost going to change hotel after reading reviews describing the area as being like a red light district. Perfect central location. 1 minute from the Parliament, 3 minutes to the Town Hall and harbour. Less than 10 min walk from main train station. Staff very friendly, we even got upgraded from a superior room to a suite. Very clean. Breakfast selection very very good. Free wi-fi included, plus 2 PCs in the lobby connected to a printer, so we managed to check in and print our boarding passes on our last day.

I interacted with several of them over three days both to change rooms (I asked if I could move to the front) and due to a lost baggage issue I was having with the airline. The hotel is, as the name implies, centrally-located. It's a one block walk to the Nationaltheatret train/metro station (so getting to and from OSL airport is a breeze!) You're also within easy walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions.
The room (I had a double) was quite nice, with large windows and high ceilings.
Their breakfast was also on point (definitely worth waking up for, especially given how expensive food is in Norway.)

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly from the moment that the booking was made. They were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived and made us feel very welcome with our children aged 3, 2 and 1. The rooms are a good size and very clean. The buffet breakfast and complimentary evening buffet were exceptional. Highly recommended to anyone

Light Evening Meal is good and not just 'light'. Breakfast spread is good and they server you hot fried eggs. Recommended for family. You can buy Oslo Pass from the hotel. A number of eating joints close by.
