Staying at Bjørgo Gard was definitely a unique experience that we would recommend to others. The initial drive up the mountain can be a bit intimidating at first because it is a steep and narrow road, but it is very well kept (paved from top to bottom) and offers several vantage points for spectacular views. Once we had been on it for a few minutes it was actually quite exciting! Either way, it was worth the climb and not nearly as intimidating the second time around. The location is beautiful along one of the most amazing norwegian road. The owner and her little daughter speak perfect english (as everyone there) and they are really nice. The appartment is little, but clean and with all essential services.

essentials like bed linen and towels are not included.
Unpleasant smell, uncomfortable beds, old bed-linen which provided for
additional payment. The bathroom looked not attractive.The hotel is very
far from the fjord coast, yet you can enjoy fresh mountain air.
We were charged old albeit clean bed linen towels at nok100 each and
ealier it was mentioned that these were included. With these addition
the rate is not competitive at this remote location which is extremely
out of nowhere with difficulty to find even with a gps.
