  The location was outstanding with beautiful views of the lake. We booked a one bedroom apartment that was spacious, well appointed and clean. You have a patio with a bench where you can relax and enjoy the views. The young lady who staffed the reception desk when we arrived is truly an asset to the business. She was very responsive, even coming to... τι λέει ο κόσμος » our apartment to help me set the alarm for our early departure to Milford Sound. There is a 24 hour laundry facility on site with free washing machin - I had a wonderful stay at Fjordland Lakeview Motel and Apartments. The heating was excellent, and very welcome after tramping outdoors, it was very clean and comfortable, and there were luxuries in the details like the toiletries and complete utensil set in the kitchen. The lakeview from the garden literally outside our door was truly spectacular, and it is a short and easy walk to town centre or the conservation centre. The staff were warm and helpful. I would definitely go back there to stay,

  Loved staying here. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. On arrival we were advised of the best places to eat and how to best enjoy our stay based on what we had planned. Had a great view by the lake (we were in upstairs unit). Also within easy walking distance of the centre of town.   I loved the customer service! Dianne dd not treat us with animosity as we were delayed in arriving our first night. She welcomed us with a smile and helpful information for our tour at Milford Sound early the next morning. She provided us with other advice around town a well. I must note that I left my purse there at checkout and went on to Queens... τι λέει ο κόσμος » town. Dianne went above and beyond to coordinate getting my purse back to me. She did not have to at all, but she did!!! That was absolutely excellent - The staff was exceptional - friendly, helpful, warm, and informative. The room was so comfortable and had so many amenities - microwave, French press, fresh milk, refrigerator, teas, coffees! We arrived so late and we were so tired and it was so nice to have such a lovely room in which to stay. I would recommend this place to everyone!!

  Great spot for good value, After Doubtful over night cruise also got a room for after the cruise very accommodating management and friendly resident cat. Kitchen and two 2 BDRM great for friends - Cleanliness, very friendly and helpful staff, location, beautiful cat.

  This was our best stay in NZ. The lady at the reception ( Elina) is so helpful. She gave us great advice as to when to leave for Milford sound, not to book unless you are going or lunch cruise, early morning tkts are easily available. She also upgraded us to a better room, the view from the room was excellent. My wife loved the place. We were so ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » happy that we stayed one day more. - Kitchen facilities OK, but a little cramped. Knowledgable, responsive and friendly staff. Some people complain about sand flies in the room, but we had the windows open all night with no bites. Te Anau is a great location for visiting the sounds and the lakes.
