This motel is rated 3 star but this doesn't really do it justice - I think it is more like a 3.5. Have stayed there twice now and would definitely return. It is close to the beach, airport and a number of good cafes, bars and restaurants. And a big thanks to the very helpful Sunday receptionist who kindly did my washing for me when I couldn't g

The rooms were well equipped with everything needed, I liked the card
access method to rooms instead of keys. Good parking and excellent
vicinity to the beach, amenities and restaurants at least a dozen within
walking distance! Excellent value for price.

We loved the old English Manor look, it was very quaint and very
appealing. Loved being able to have the big windows open in the
restuarant and the ducks on the little lake outside. Very clean and
comnfortable beds and very roomy for a studio.....we had a lovely time.
There is also a lovely English look Pub accross the road "The
Honest Lawyer"...g

We went on a Bays wine tour...had great day and got picked up and
dropped back./ -
Very spacious, very comfortable. Well decorated, fireplace was a plus.
Kitchen was efficient and spotless. Staff very helpful and
professional. We had a malfunctioning washing machine, and the staff
completed the laundry, bringing it folded back to me. That was beyond
the call of duty.

Great stay. Lovely spacious clean room with a view over a field. Lovely friendly staff. Had no issues with noise on the Thursday night we stayed so slept well. Easy walk into town to eat at one of many restaurants. Couldn't fault it. -

Everything ... really. This was just a great hotel. Clean, comfortable, pleasing, modern, convenient. Proprietors were great. Gave good and helpful advise. One of the very best on a long trip around NZ. And the city of Nelson is absolutely delightful. Deserving of a longer stay in the future. One of the most pleasant and clean small cities I have

Brilliant location, staff and willingness to help and fulfill all needs. The small things ie. 2 baggage racks and many other things well done. Clean comfortable laid out unit and very comfortable bed and pillows. Good value for money. I would definetely go back.

Excellent room and motel facilities. All modern and clean. Great location: only 10mins walk to good restaurants, shops & supermarkets.

The owner was very cordial and helpful. The accommodations were updated and comfortable. I was very close to the ocean and town. Easy to get around. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Nelson and the Beachside was one of the reasons. I highly recommend staying here.

We really appreciated the friendly helpful service. The staff went the 'extra mile' to look after us and to make sure that we had the things we needed. They even stored our gear while we were away walking the Heaphy track. This was really helpful. Good value for money. -

From the moment we arrived the owner was wonderful. Wonderful friendly owners. Spotless large rooms. The bathrooms are
amazing! Giant spa tub the can easily fit a couple. Def highly recommend
for a couple wanting to come back and have a romantic evening. Perfect
location with walking distance to everything. Helpful info on where to
go. We arrive late in the evening and reception was closed but simply
was told to ring up when we arrived and they'd meet us, and they
did, without a hitch. Showers and beds are super comfy. Would highly

Nick, the owner, was extremely helpful both with ideas for our stay, 5 nights, and making bookings for us. Most evening he caught up with us to inquire whether our day went as well as we hoped.
The facilities and venue are fantastic and so close to town. -

I arrived a day earlier than anticipated and Andy went out of his way to accommodate me and my grandson and upgrading us to a larger suite. He couldn't have been more helpful with local knowledge and recommendations for dining etc as this was my first visit to Nelson. Looking forward to returning for a longer visit next time. -

... τι λέει ο κόσμος » friendly and helpful! Every suggestion for food and activities was perfect and they will even book activities for you. We did an Abel Tasman trip and a wine tour that picked us up from the hotel.
We had a two bedroom room with a very well equipped kitchen - couldn't have asked for a better spot.
