We loved the peace and tranquility of the B+B. It was luxurious but homely. We felt we had the right amount of privacy and interaction with the owners. We were made to feel welcome and valued. The added touches of home made cookies and chocolate teddy bears was much appreciated. We love booking through letsbookhotel.com as it really is a no hassle booking experience. We received a wonderful welcome even though it was 1 am! Excellent accommodation and the best breakfast in NZ. The eggs Benedict are the best I have ever tasted. A few little extras in the room which made the stay even more enjoyable. Most of all Ann and Harold clearly enjoy running this boutique hotel. We look forward to returning.
όλα τα σχόλια » Beautiful 1861 home lovingly restored after the 2011 earthquake with a magnificent Kauri wood staircase in the foyer/reception area. Ann and Harold are terrific hosts, very friendly and informative. Breakfast room very cute and the breakfast with numerous hot item choices was delicious. Beautiful decor - a welcome change from all the white/cream-coloured hotel rooms everywhere. Friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Good location. Interesting history going back ~150 years and also interesting detail re impact of the earthquakes. Eliza,the owner,is the best hostess I had been.Wonderful hotel, unforgettable hospitality.Delicious breakfast,especially egg Benedictine( with ham,salmom or spinach&mushrooms)Owner help you all ways,give all informations.
