Parking infront of the hotel, the best food. Competitive price, kind staff, nice food. Availability on the web. It was cosy enough and very quiet. The staff was nice and helpful. On saturday night the restaurant changed into the busiest little Thai restaurant. Food was good. proximity conference center and restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Thai theme was nice and the location is ok though it took 25 minutes to walk to Centraal Station (so calling it "walking distance" might be questionable). Friendly staff and easy to find.the smell of Thai cooking :). food and price. The price is the main reason for being here. It is a step up from hostels but only just. The staff were all very helpful when I was there, although I would say they were slightly untrained in what to expect in a hotel. The free wireless internet worked ok although was a little shaky at times. There is a character to the whole hotel which is quaint and the friendly budda on the landing felt fri. the best Thay food i've ever eat!!!! great staff ,very gentle and helpfull. Helpful staff
Thai food
Convenient location. The food in the restaurant. It is cheap and close to the city centre. It has a near bus stop with 2 buses to the center of the city. Nice staff, nice decorations (Buddhas everywhere), low price. The location. Great thai food from the restaurant. Good connections to the center. Nothing at all!. stairs are steep (just like a traditional dutch building), but the staff helped me carry my heavy luggage to the room. the small room is really small, but really good value for money, just about 20 euro per person per night!!. Shared toilet without a window. Tv handset didn't work. Couldn't control sound. It was further away from the old city centre, than what was mentioned in the web page. Not too much though and there was a good bus connection. The stairs are very steep and not suitable for elderly people. I had read the reviews so I knew in advance that the rooms and toilets are small. So it didn't bother me. A tip: use the toilet on the second floor, not the one in the third floor ;). very steep staircase-not for older people. The room was cluttered - the safe in the room could not be used because access was blocked by the bunk beds. I also found it difficult to shut the window because the bunk beds were in the way. The breakfast was limited - orange juice, some rolls (one type), jam, peanut butter and hard boiled eggs.Although the steep and narrow staircase was mentioned on the website, I was not prepared for how steep and narrow it actually was. The rooms were badly heated and a cold draft of wind infiltrated the window.warm system. The web sites misslead about the distance from the station, allow half an hour to walk. The reviews do not prepare you for how small the rooms are. The whole hotel feels a little worn, cluttered and old. Why are there the noisy vending machines which I suspect are not used. The one shower and toilet on my floor seemed too few although I had no problems when I was there. No hot water on my sec. no shower in bedroom as i've request and the room was a hole, if you open the table you cannot exit from the door...and nochairs probably because there's no place for... Not much space in room ('large room')
Poor lighting in room (unable to read a book). The breakfast in the morning was rather poor. Only white bread, no butter and everything rather limited. The room was too small and it smell bad!!!!. Since is situated on top of an Asian restaurant should have better insulation of the smell. The clothes were all smelling like frying oil!. The room was very very small as the bathroom. There were no towels in the room, no feet towel when you exit from theshower. The hotel and the room were not really clean and the check outwas much to early: 10 am. The breakfast ends at 9 am: is that a joke? They really want to make sure that nobody will have breakfast! Thestaircase is really dangerous (almost a ladder!!). I'd never try therestaurant!! Looks crappy as the rest. Cleanliness of bathroom, stairs unacceptably steep. Not suitable for infirm people. It is very noisy. Rooms are too small. Dangerous staircase, dirty carpet in room, severe road noise, no wastebin, no room key, limited hot water. We had to pay in advance, the room was not made properly, bad tv - reception, staff didn't talk dutch. They requested advance payment without giving notice on their website. When I pointed this out, they treated me as harshly as I have never beenin a place where I was spending money. The room was ugly, dirty andtiny, with giant mosquitos to cope with. The bathroom is tiny. They didnot clean the room! Poor breakfast, expensive dinner. They don't care ofyou. The worst stay ever. Horrible experience. The roms were too small, too expensive for that kind of hotel, not comfortable... Very dangerous stairs! The staff was very unfriendly. Breakfast was terrible: No fresh bread and bitter coffee.
