We were met at the apartments by Kai who explained everything for us and gave us some great tips on things to do whilst we were there.
The apartments were very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. It was located a few minutes from Dam Square, one of the main attractions in Amsterdam. There was a great view of the river Amstel from the apartment windows with all the boats passing by at regular intervals.

Everything about this was excellent - hotel small and characterful, staff extremely welcoming and helpful, breakfast delicious, rooms and beds very comfortable. A very nice place to stay with friendly and especially helpful staff. Breakfast is good, the place is spotless, and it is to very close to the sights, and the train station. Since it is a docked boat it is also very quiet.
Don't forget it is a boat cabin what you will get. If you have accepted that, than you find this place very much to your likin

The price and location are good, and it's interesting to stay on a canal boat. In the summer, this boat cruises the waterways of France. As long as you expect cramped, boat cabin accommodations and a staff of one, it's fine.

I stayed in this hotel with my wife. We arrived sooner than planned in
Amsterdam and had to leave our baggage in the hotel before the check-in
time, but that was absolutely no problem. The room is perfect, clean and
spacious, with a great view to the river and equipped with a nice
shower, toilet and kitchen. Air conditioning and heating facilities

Excellent stay. We chose this as it is something different and more fun than an ordinary hotel and it was fabulous. Centrally located (10 mins walk from Centraal) but quiet. The standard of accommodation was excellent. Lovely to sit in the wheel house with a drink in hand looking out over the water. Very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again.

The atmosphere of place was impeccable from facility to environment.
Actually the owner of the boat he was so kind and generous so that we can feel comfortable where you were staying.
I'd like to say that you should go there even though price is a bit higher than other hotel. It should be deserved. -
The location is peaceful and full of wildlife.

We slept on a boat - what else can I say? :)
Very friendly staff (father and daughter), they helped us with all our questions. Of course the rooms are a bit small (and so was the bathroom), but this was to be expected on a boat. We really loved that it was so well located, everything is reachable by foot.
And the prices are pretty cheap, even the

Amsterdam's a walkable city and the Avanti is just right in the Middle of the City a 7 minutes walk from the Central Station! Made life really easy as I could explore and return at anytime without bothering when the tram and the like would close.
Dave and Annie are also extremely helpful and nice, showed us the Best places to go to, where to eat,

Brilliant location, excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Food and drink excellent and very reasonably priced. Comfortable, very clean and well looked after.The Avanti was a pleasure to stay on.
Our hosts went out of their way to provide help, information and warmth to us, and we really couldn't have asked for anything more. The ship is very well kitted out, and anything you might need has already been thought of, and is easy to access. A lovely place to chill, with a homely atmosph
