  I read about this hotel from Wall Paper. As a close follower of the publication, as well as being obsessed with design hotels, when Wall Paper rates it as one of the best new location in 2012, it became my primer task to check it out, hence, when the opportunity came, I checked into this hotel without a heart beat. The building itself is spectacular - the architectural design and merging of old and new to create a dynamic lifestyle experience with the comfort of the new and the charm and character of the old. Excellent service and very good value. - It was a pleasant stay - if I have to pass through AMS again, I'll certainly stay at your hotel. I was most appreciatiave that the Front Desk clerk put me in a room "far from the busy lobby". I needed to fully rest up and there was no disturbance, so I slept very well. The breakfast was excellent, thank you.

  We arrived early in the morning, and our rooms were not ready, which we expected. As there were nine of us, the staff gave us a meeting room in which to change clothes, and the use of a bathroom to wash up, as we were headed to Amsterdam for the day. I had booked dinner reservations for the evening; there were eleven in our group.
