We recently stayed 3 nights at the Palace B+B and loved every minute of it! Rudy and Pia are wonderful hosts. I was only staying for one night en route to Africa, but they were very accommodating in every way. The Garden Room is spacious and comfortable. They thoughtfully provide breakfast in the room so that guests can have it at whatever time is best. Also, the location is excellent--very walkable to many if not most of Amsterdam's major places of interest. One note: the two flights of stairs are steep, so that may be something to consider.

very attentive reception by Erik who was exteremely helpful on any pssible question or issue.
He made us really feel at home in his appartement, who is centrally situated in de very neighbourhood of the Jordaan.
At the same time the room was extremely calm adn silent in the recently rebuild convent building.

The owner, Barbara gave us a warm welcoming feeling to her home n providing us w many good tips ard. V good wifi!! The place is clean, v comfortable and we had a very privacy room. The staff was excellent. This is a small run operation but they were helpful and made us feel very welcome. Room is quite simple with a funny little shower off the kitchen (and the toilet behind that!) but it was clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a great location. Great for a couple looking for a quiet location to relax and be out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Amsterdam. This was a great area to stay to check out the trendy Jordaan, nine streets, and night club district.

The room was a good size, nicely furnished and with a working tv. The
bathroom was really nice too, very clean and had a hair dryer. We loved
our stay here as it was right next to the flower markets so it was easy
to find our way there (once we already knew where it was) and it
wasn't too loud at night. -

Good location in a quiet and beautiful canal in Jordaan (the “jardin” district in Amsterdam).
We stayed in the interior room (bigger than the front room). It has a high window that lets the natural light flood in (doesn’t look directly outside).
The room was clean and has a good size for 2 persons. There are a TV (tube), central heating radiator

Loved our stay at B+B bloembed, stayed 4 nights and wish we could have stayed longer! Friendly, helpful hosts, great breakfast which you can eat at your leisure, excellent location on a beautiful canal. Situated in Jordaan which has plenty of good restaurants and brown cafes. The room was clean, warm and a good size for 2 people with luggage. Great value for money, will stay here on our return to Amsterdam!

Good host who provided useful local information on nearby pubs and cafes. Very close to Central station and tram routes. Flat well sourced with tea/coffee and travel guides/maps. Luckily we were on first floor - good tip to ask for this flat. Able to leave bags in cycle shop next door which was also run by our host. Very good value for centre

I strongly recommend Tulipa.
