Everything was just perfect! Despite being located near the central
station and in the middle of the city the hotel was very quiet. We have
travelled to a lot of cities in Europe and have never stayed at a hotel
as clean and nice as this! It was very cosy and the beds were very

I loved the whole idea of staying on a ship. The location was great as
well, just a 5-10 minute walk to the Central Station area. The rate
included breakfast which was good, I just wish it started a little
earlier because we wanted to get out of the city to head home as early

The owners were exceptionally nice and welcoming. The location is great! Only a ten minute walk from Central Station. Lovely breakfast is complimentary, the common area is extremely comfortable and you can sit up on deck and gaze out at the cityscape! Highly recommend Hotelschip Gandalf!!!

The two brothers who run the apartment hotels are very nice and friendly. We had the two bedroom apartment sharing with my in-laws. The beds were very comfy, the kitchen had everything we would need, the fact that we had a separate toilet and shower was very good. People could get ready for the day quicker this way.

Very large 3 bedroom apartment for the price of two hotel rooms. Very
large living room with flat screen tv and dvd player. Clean and modern
with an excellent coffee machine, but you had to go around the corner to
a supermarket to buy all supplies including sugar, special coffee
packets for the machine, etc. Free laundry facilities but you need to
supply your own detergent. Helpful manager when he is there. Good
location close to shopping, restaurants, flea markets, canal boats.

Spacious apartment in a lovely quiet location 2 minutes walk from the zoo and easily accessible either on foot or via regular trams to city centre.
Easy walk to 'Nemo' science centre too, and the excellent Maritime Museum. A haven from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam!
Free wifi and a DVD player helped with keeping the older kids amused.

The open plan living area and kitchen facilities were particularly good. Well resourced. The beds were very comfortable. The Plantage area was quiet and peaceful, but so easy to access city centre, even on foot.

Location is very good, only 5 munites of walk from central station. The room is tidy and distinctive. Kitchen is also nice, we cooked during our stay. A feeling of Home. I will choose this accomadation again when the next time to Amsterdam. -

Πολύ καλά σχεδιασμένο δωμάτιο, λιτοί και λειτουργικοί κοινόχρηστοι χώροι, πολύ ησυχία, θαυμάσια θέα. - Good, modern hotel. The room had a good view of the harbour and cruise ships docking. Very good value. Staff very friendly too. - Wonderfull view, wonderfull room - perfect!
