Hotel Pax is a cute, clean place to stay for a few nights, and the location is absolutely superb. It's right on a major street between Anne Frank House and Dam Square. Lots to see and do, all within walking distance. From Central Station, it was only 2 short tram stops, then a 4 minute walk at most. (Trams are easily accessible from Dam Square).

The hotel is exactly what is written in the ad. But you'll be
surprised positively. It is an old building (like most part of houses
there) with a big stair to enter. The owner is a very nice person and
helped me with my baggage when I arrived. He also gave a lots of hints
about the city and the touristic spots. Honestly, I was afraid of
shared bathroom and shower, but they are individual e there aren't
many rooms per floor, so every time I needed both were empty and I

We stayed at the Clemens for three nights in November and enjoyed everything about our stay. Great location - we walked everywhere. When arriving in Amsterdam, we walked from the station to the hotel about 10 minutes but did take a cab to the airport when we left; the hotel made arrangements for us. Fantastic location just round the corner from Centraal Station, was easy to find - its basically above the Resin coffeeshop. Beds were alright for a short stay, good enough kitchen facilities for us to cook up a couple of very tasty meals. Decent size bathroom with a good shower. Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience, me and my wife have been in many
places of the world, but this experience was the best by far.

The location and views from the suite could not be bettered.
The suite itself was large,spotless,very comfortable,warm and with excellent ensuite facilities. The manager,Thomas,was incredibly welcoming,helpful and spoke perfect English. He also prepared an excellent breakfast which was eaten overlooking the canal. We would highly recommend and without doubt would return. Thank you Thomas for all your help. Robert and Joyce.

Great location - right opposite a park and 1 minute walk from the tram line which takes you directly into Central Amsterdam (in 10-12 minutes). There's a very well stocked supermarket next door too.
We had the ground floor apartment and had a lovely backyard all to ourselves. Great for the kids.
Staff were friendly and available to answer all questions. Highly recommend this place.
