Apart from excellent location the place is very comfortable, you have everything under your hand. You can - We were met at the apartments by Kai who explained everything for us and gave us some great tips on things to do whilst we were there. The apartments were very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. It was located a few minutes from Dam Square, one of the main attractions in Amsterdam. There was a great view of the river Amstel from the apartment windows with all the boats passing by at regular intervals.

I'd like to say that you should go there even though price is a bit higher than other hotel.   I loved the whole idea of staying on a ship. The location was great as well, just a 5-10 minute walk to the Central Station area. The rate included breakfast which was good, I just wish it started a little earlier because we wanted to get out of the city to head home as early as possible. I would absolutely return if I visit Amsterdam again. Note if you're driving - we - The owners were exceptionally nice and welcoming. The location is great! Only a ten minute walk from Central Station. Lovely breakfast is complimentary, the common area is extremely comfortable and you can sit up on deck and gaze out at the cityscape! Highly recommend Hotelschip Gandalf!!!
