Opening white doors and climbing up a steep staircase, characteristic of Amsterdam house architecture, I finally reached a bright room full of cleanliness with four large windows on the ceiling.

The hotel is in a very handy location. It is nicely renovated, beautifully decorated and in a quiet neighborhoodth. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was also a plus. I thoroughly enjoyed the owner's hospitality - very friendly, welcoming and informative. The location was ideal for us because we were attending a conference at the Rai center -15 minutes walk - and also touring Amsterdam. Dam Square was about 30 minutes walk. We had an excellent stay during our 3 nights at Park 9. It is in a beautiful setting across from Sarphatipark, in a very nice part of Amsterdam. The house itself is really nice and the bedrooms are of the highest quality that you will find in Amsterdam. Peter and Robert as hosts could not make you feel more welcome and if you are not familiar with the City, they will give you great advice on what to do and see which is really helpful for those who have little experience of Amsterdam. Excellent location in an upscale neighbourhood close to the hustle and
bustle of the city but far enough away for it to a relaxing retreat.
Being right next to Vondelpark was a wonderful benefit. The room was
very elegant and comfortable. Having the kitchen was very helpful and
reasonably stocked which is really a benefit when travelling with kids

This property has charming private suites with a special extra touch of amenities. They offer a delicious breakfast with a deluxe coffee/espresso-maker in the room. bathroom was really nice too, very clean and had a hair dryer. We loved
our stay here as it was right next to the flower markets so it was easy
to find our way there (once we already knew where it was) and it
wasn't too loud at night. -

Lovely little place in a great location, a short walk into city centre. I knew I would have to park motorcycle on street, but found a convenient place almost outside hotel. Gijs was an excellent host. He helped us before arrival and during the stay. We loved the character of the house (we stayed in the loft room). It was very close to everything in Amsterdam. Rather than feeling like a tourist staying in a hotel, we felt like we are staying in our own house. Perfect value for money! Amazing breakfast.
