This hotel has an excellent location in pleasant and prosperous Amsterdam Zuid, close to the Concertgebouw. Posh shops and restaurants as well as an affordable supermarket are close by. Amsterdam's historic center and major museums are easily reachable by public transportation.

Our room was well equipped, and had access to a shared balcony. The rates are very reasonable by A'dam standards. -
I loved the location, private bathroom and room size. It was walking distance to the museums, public transportation to the airport and other areas was around the corner from the hotel. The rooms were clean, bathrooms as well, cable television and heating.

I had already stayed at this hotel once, in March. By that time, I loved the hotel except from it's staff, which I found a little rude. Now I think they have improved it. I've seen different people at the reception and they were much nicer.

Easily the friendliest staff of anywhere we stayed across Europe.
Want to make your own cup of coffee or tea in your room ... it's all there for you. Want to iron your clothes ... there is an iron and ironing board in your room ( the first time we'd seen this in Europe in over a month of travel). It's these little differences that just make travel so much easier.
Great breakfast, great location, one of the largest rooms and bathrooms we'd had on our trip. Perfect.

We stayed two night during first week of January. The staff was very friendly, the hotel is a small building (old mansion on Vondel Park), but is very nice. The rooms were modern with recent updates. Tasteful and not tacky. The breakfast for 9 euros is a great deal! - Excellent location, nice quiet room, excellent service.

The owner/staff were fantastic - friendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable. The single rooms were on the small side, as it is an old family house but that added to the character. μου άρεσε το δωρεάν ασύρματο internet - We stayed at the triple room. The room was nice and spacious, with a balcony to a courtyard. The location is good, 300 meters from Leidseplein: one of the most interesting areas of the city. The staff was very kind and helpfull.
