Being an apartment situation, we never did meet the staff so can't comment; however, they were certainly accessible by the room phone. We can not say enough good things about our studio apt. I loved the location, private bathroom and room size. It was walking distance to the museums, public transportation to the airport and other areas was around the corner from the hotel. The rooms were clean, bathrooms as well, cable television and heating.

Easily the friendliest staff of anywhere we stayed across Europe.
Want to make your own cup of coffee or tea in your room ... it's all there for you. Want to iron your clothes ... there is an iron and ironing board in your room ( the first time we'd seen this in Europe in over a month of travel). It's these little differences that just make travel so much easier.
Great breakfast, great location, one of the largest rooms and bathrooms we'd had on our trip. Perfect.

We had a medical issue and the night receptionist (at 4am) really went the extra mile to help us.

This hotel located in the best, area of Amsterdam with lots of great shopping and restaurants near by. Its newly redone and very modern with stylish rooms. The bathrooms are large with flat screens above the tub.I have been happy with their other hotels as well, the Roemer and Vondel. I highly recommend this hotel to any travellers looking to enjoy a great valued option compared to other ones in this expensive city.

We stayed two night during first week of January. The staff was very friendly, the hotel is a small building (old mansion on Vondel Park), but is very nice. The rooms were modern with recent updates. Tasteful and not tacky. The breakfast for 9 euros is a great deal! - Excellent location, nice quiet room, excellent service.
