exceptional position: 100 mt away from the railway station and from the city centre. all the staff was very kind. essential room but large and with every comfort. huge private balcony. The Hotel de Kok is moving and is only performing required maintenance until their new facility is ready. Keeping this in mind we had a wonderful stay. Considering how close the hotel is to the train we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was.όλα τα σχόλια »
The location is hard to beat - right next to a small train station (but shielded from the sound of the trains) - just a few blocks from the historic center of Delft, and a few blocks further from the Technical University. Sitting in the beautiful garden behind the hotel. Friendly staff and clean room. the reception staff really helpfull and frienly, the bed really confortable. the room was big and comfortable. Theri kind service. Everything was ok. Access to Delft - very nearby.no negative aspects. but if you're not used to noise (i.e. if you live in the countryside) just ask for a room on the opposite side of the railway tracks. No although the hotel is old and I believe is closing soon to make wayfor new train station I believe the new hotel will be more modern thestaff were very friendly and the room adequate.old hotel, need a reformation. curtain was not enough to made the room dark! I was not able to sleep after the 5:00AM because there was too much light in the room. The hotel is in need of renovation - by their own admission - and will hopefully be better once they have relocated.

The bar and lounge are 2 joined rooms. The bar has a fireplace. In the bar, there is a wall with music instruments, which can be used. From the lounge, you have a great view over one of the canals. Often you will see little boats passing by. Of course, we are able to tell you about the many sights of Delft and the surroundings towns and villages, and all other places that are worth visiting. You will have a good start to the day in the breakfast room. A hot and cold buffet with many fresh products of the season are available. The hotel has a large wine and beer cellar. We will inform you at the bar, so you can make a choice instantly. We herewith invite you to a drink in the bar and lounge.

The Hague and Rotterdam are only a 10 kilometre distance away. Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam) is a 30 kilometre distance. We can arrange for a cab-service to Schiphol Airport. You can reach Hotel de Kok by car via route A13/E19. Once you are in Delft, follow the letter 'K' at the hotel route signs. Besides being a 'Knowledge based city', Delft also is the number one 'Bicycle City'.
