Breitner House is set in a characteristic Amsterdam townhouse overlooking the Oosterpark. It offers 2 large, classically decorated suites with modern features such as a flat-screen TV and iPod docking station. Both rooms have the atmosphere of the 1800s with authentic ornaments, big Italian chandeliers and antique furnishings. They have luxurious bathrooms with a bath tub and free toiletries. Every morning, Breitner House serves an extensive breakfast including champagne in the classic diningroom with views of the park. Several restaurants are available in the direct area for dinner. Amsterdam’s famous Museum Quarter including the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum is 15 minutes away by public transport. The Artis Zoo is 500 metres away.

My wife and I stayed at Breitner House in Mid-July...and, yes, the weather was beautiful for our stay but even if it had have poured rain for the entire weekend I think we would have been happy not to leave our fantastic suite for the 4 days!!! I don't really know where to start but here goes - From the second we booked it was obvious that Camilla and Guido (the owners) were a fantastic, one of a kind couple who would not be happy with anything other than delighting their guests beyond all expe.

The room is so spacious and grand. The bathroom is also very spacious and beautiful. The best of all is the hosts Camilla and Huido, they have great personalities, very helpful and loving, they make me and all the guests really welcome and everybody was having a good time : ) I am really glad to meet with them, it is the b. This is the first time I have actually wrote a feedback form for the hotel I have stayed. Honestly, the stay at Breitner House was an extremely unique experience. I have stayed in quite a few of five star hotels and luxurious boutique hotels, however, Breitner House beats all of them due to its exceptional design of the House and the warm welcome from the house owners. We were warmly received on the first day when we arrive the House. The house owners are exceptionally nice and kind, providing . Me and my husband have lived a wonderful week at Breitner House, that we missed as soon as we made the check out... Everything there is special, different - in a beautiful way. The atmosphere is peaceful and romantic, the rooms and their decors are superb, the hosts - Camilla and Guido - are such fine and good at heart people; it was a great delight to enter their home and meet them. Breitner House was an unforgettable experience for me and my husband, the holidays that replenished us, that fil. Everything about Breitner House was absolutely perfect. The room was stunning, the entire house was lavishing and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was unbelievable. Undeniably, Camilla and Guido were the most gracious, lovely hosts, who went above and beyond to make our visit there not just a visit, but a remarkable experience. It's very evident that they take an enormous amount of pride in the house, and making each and every stay a beautiful one. Just think about anything and everything y. The Breitner House stands as bright star among any bed and breakfast, not only in Amsterdam but on a global scale. Its owners, Camilla, and fabulous chef and fantastic husband will do whatever it takes to exceed your expectations and turn your vacation into an experience that will be long remembered. Their house holds the romantic spirit of the artful culture infused with the best breakfast experience we ever had. Prepare to be treated as royalty and leave with desire to come again. We feel tha. Best place I have ever stayed at.!Whilst we where there we got treated like royalty and lived like kings. Breakfast is something to be experienced, 2 or so hours of eating and tasting at its best. Guido and Camilla our hosts where superb, very hospitable,interested in their guests wellbeing, sociable and they made sure we had a great, never to be forgotten stay at Breitner house. Guido's knowledge of Amsterdam is fantastic ensuring you dont miss out on markets, cafes, events and places of inter. Breitner House was even more beautiful and elegant than we expected. The food was exceptionally fine. Camilla and Guido are interesting and charming and have left us feeling like extremely well cared for friends rather than guests. This does not occur without inspiration, patience, commitment and hard work to anticipate and offer everything that can make a weekend comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you for a very special experience, almost like being at a house-party in a nineteenth century nove. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place and it's hosts. It's gushing with art, music, romance, history and good food and drink... Truly the most magnificent breakfast we've ever had. Definitely stay here if you want to experience all of Amsterdam. The owners are wonderful, knowledgeable people, real Amsterdam insiders who will bend over backwards to make your stay as best it can be. It was so wonderful in the house, we had a hard time deciding whether to go out or stay in. Highly, highly. The Breitner House is magnificent. We stayed in the George Breitner Suite and it was gorgeous. The owners Camilla & Guido made our stay at their hotel and in Amsterdam perfect and a stay we never will forget. We will definitely come back and we will highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for something a bit different and not just a hotelroom. This place has a soul and two wonderful owners who give you an indescribable once in a life time experience...and not to mention Guido´s. We like everything. The house has a history, rooms are very stilish, with positive atmosphere. The bathroom is perfect! Big with a nice bath for two! A special experience were the owners of the house. Extremly interesting couple. A lot of stories. A lot of subjects to talk about. It was like we came to stay in ours friends house. And we didn't know these people before! Very nice! Very different from other accomodations. Really, like staying in friend's luxory house!. Breitner House totally deserves its reputation: our hosts Camilla and Guido were fantastic, extremely helpful and made our week end unforgettable. The suite was of very high standard, with all the facilities you need (at no additional charge). The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of food and specials cooked by Guido. We will for sure go back to Breitner House for our next trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect-quiet yet close to the center of Amsterdam. Classical, elegant,tastefully and comfortably decorated, very very large rooms. Exstravagant gourmet breakfast- you will not find a better one anywhere, period. The best of all is the magnificent Guido and the lovely Camilla. All made for a very personal and unforgetable stay. Thank you very much Camilla and Guido!. Posh interior design, romanic breakfast worthy of at a famous Flemish painter's still life, absolutely lovely hosts who create the atmosfere of home away from home. Staying with Guido and Camilla was like staying with your closesst family: they are caring, lovely people with excetional knowledge of Amsterdam - where to go, what to see, etc. Beautifully decorated, superbly located and a welcome that makes you feel like you're coming home. The breakfast is fit for a king and the hosts were so helpful and even escorted us around in their personal car. They made it a trip to remember because they care about their guests. Words cannot describe how wonderful Breitner House is and the hosts, Camilla and Guido. They could not be more welcoming or do more for us. They truly went way above and beyond anything we would have expected. Don't pass up an opportunity to have this wonderful experience. A very warmhearted place, where we felt ourself as with far relatives, and our guestkeeper really could find their place to give peace for us and to speak with us, and advice to have a sightseeing. The room was extraordinary nice!. The most wonderful and courteous hosts in a setting only seen in films. Incredible hospitality and exquisite food. Easy access to the city and surrounding sights. Trams No.7 and No. 9 get you very easily to all destinations. Beautiful park across the road very quite location. tremendous experience. wonderful hosts, gourmet food, location great, easy to get around from this location, Camilla and Guido were the most exciting hosts, felt like we were living in a museum as well as an antique shop. our stay was amazing - Camilla and Guido were lovely hosts and the house is absolutely beautiful - one of the best places i have ever stayed in.
