From the start, we were made to feel very welcome. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us.
The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra. And the turtles were a star attraction - role models for contemplation.

The Riad Milhourn was everything the pictures on the Internet portrayed. We found the room a little smaller than we expected and didn't have room for our luggage, however the en suite was spacious and well appointed and we were able to leave one suitcase there.

A beautiful, romantic place to stay, just 10 minutes walk from Jan Fna and the wonderful souks of Marrakech. The building is great with a traditional riad style. The open terrace was lovely and secluded; perfect for breakfast and sunbathing. The staff were very friendly and offered to arrange tours etc for us. The restaurant was a special treat with gorgeous French cuisine. The location is perfect; close enough to the medina to walk there easily but far enough away to be a quiet retreat.

If you are planning a trip to Marrakech, you definitely have to book this Riad. Every time you enter the Riad it feels like coming home. The staff is friendly and helps you with everything. Loved the take of a modern Riad built in the traditional fashion located in the middle of the mayhem of the Souk of the old Medina.
Ideally located to truly experience both the old and the new Marrakech. Why stay in the 'sterile' new city hotels and never experience Marrakech as it's meant to be experienced?

What a place to escape to from the mayhem of the souks of the old Medina and the travails of the daily drudgery -
The staff were very attentive and friendly. Thank you to Majid for delicious breakfast and great service. Great hostess who was checking on guests' feedback on daily basis. We appreciated being showed the way to the main square the first evening and that there was always a member of staff waiting on the corner of the main street to escort us to the riad late at night. Great facilities and atmosphere to escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh medina.
