A lovely hotel located at the back of the town, up against the mountainside. We really enjoyed our time there. The staff were friendly and very helpful, getting us a guide who took us to see local traditional crafts (ahem), showing us good places to eat and drink (there are only 3 places in Chaouen that serve alcohol) and helping us to use the local hamam safely. The location was fantastic.
The terrace top roof was magic. The furnishings and rooms were lovely and we were so well looked after.
Tangier is a great place to visit especially if you want to experience something completely different. Fabienne was so welcoming and a fantastic host and we also had the pleasure of meeting her mother. We were made to feel like the house was our own, nothing was too much trouble and we were given great tips about where to eat and places to go.

The rooms were large and we had a seafront room with a large balcony.
Large beds (actually 2 pushed together) that can easily be made twin
beds. Large bathroom with a bathtub. The swimming pool was being
prepared for the summer during our visit but looked nice. Plenty of
choice for breakfast. English not widely spoken by reception staff, but

so a car or taxi required to get to the medina, shops and restaurants.

I loved the facilities. The room was big, with two bathrooms and all
the little things that make tourists happy (robes, slippers, body
lotion, etc.) Very fancy hotel! The breakfast was okay. The hotel is
next to the beach and has a swimming pool. That part of the beach is
not very clean though.

Mustafa at front desk was incredibly helpful overall, especially re: my
luggage which didn't arrive on my flight into Casblanca before we
took train to Tangier. He helped suggest where to buy some clothes,
helped with phone calls to the airlines and shared other tips to help.
The location made our daily walks to the Medina and other highlights
easy, and the room was very comfortable at a great price.
