The Riad Le Calife is a wonderful experience, from the gracious welcome and the comfortable check in (with its mint tea), through the delightful rooms, garden, terraces, to the wonderful meals. The Riad is tastefully designed and the decor is chic. Modern feeling
with rain shower head was a great feature. Our bed was very comfortable
and our room (Alia) was large. Breakfast is sufficient with some

Riad Layla is on the edge of the Medina, but it is only a few minutes
walk from the blue gate. The terrace has a fantastic view of the old
Medina. The breakfast every morning is wonderful, and each of the staff
is extremely friendly and helpful. We originally booked for 2 days, and
we extended another day of stay in Fez. Both Chaimae and Iolanda speak
fluent English and are gracious in providing us tips around the Medina.
