We booked the family suite - which turned out to be the 2bedroom suite on the top floor, occupying half of the entire floor. Service - top notch. Supervisor was inspecting the room right before we moved in (although we were waiting for 2 hours before we were allowed to enter) and it was well worth the wait! Spacious! Great view! Day bed! A little bit glitches here and there, ie old fridge (not quite functioning well), weighin scale spoiled, dusty windows on the outside of the room, airconditio.

We checked in on 1st Nov about 4plus & I asked for a room facing sea view as I did not put up the request on my online booking. One of your staff was very helpful, she told me most likely there were no more rooms facing sea view available, nevertheless, she was so kind & got us a room which we requested. I loved the room, so spacious & everything was provided for except that I would comment is th. The Hotel staff were very helpful. We had booked 2 rooms & our rooms were just along the corridor from one another. We had rooms overlooking the water so we really enjoyed the views. Also the fact that each suite had a separate lounge room & bedroom made for a very relaxing feeling. The bathroom was excellent, large with a great spa bath. The pool was very pleasant to swim in. Almost opposite the hotel was the Northam Beach Food Court area which is a great place to eat of a night time!. Very Good is the best way I can say about this hotel Front desk was in great shape I was cleared in short time.the check time under hotel policy was 3pm ,I was allowed to check in at 12 noon The room was designed well it was neat ,all fittings were in working order. The hotel was very close to city and gurney drive where a evening stroll will make you feel the breeze from the sea. Close proximity to all amenities. Suitable for single,family and business. We stay in Junior suite for 4 nights.. Very big room.. exactly as shown in their website.. Each room came wt living room, 2 units of flat screen TVs, 2 units of washroom, each in bedroom and living room. Extra points for their jacuzzi :) Friendly and helpful staff.. Breakfast was awesome, they change the menus everyday :). 1) The huge room space for a small fraction of what a four star suite should cost. 2) Views facing the sea 3) Quiet rooms, flat screen TV, Jacuzzi in the room. All necessary amenities. 4) Central location at georgetown right next to shopping malls. Near all the best food in town. The location of the hotel was great, accessibility to popular places was an ease. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Nice view of the beach from the hotel rooms. Free car park. Swimming pool might be slightly small, but great view, and very relaxing deck. I like their bathroom which is very big and clean. The room also very big for a family with two children and the living area is spacious for my kids to play around. Excellent hotel for me. I will come again . Strategic location. Close to Gurney Drive and the Penang Heritage sites Large room with lots of space Sea fronting units has great view Good front desk and house keeping service. The location is close to shopping mall and fast food resturants. I like the sea view room and also the breakfast. The staff are friendly. I recomend it to young couples. The hotel is clean and maintained properly. Room is spacious and very suitable for family with young toddlers and children. Good value for money for family stay. Clean room, breakfast and wifi included, helpful staff - we needed to cancel our last night and were not charged for that night despite the hotel policy. Spacious deluxe suite. Overall cleanliness of hotel is great. Staff helpful n courteous. Location is great too. Will definitely stay here again... Really attentive (esp. the male ones) staff at the reception. Enough plug-points !. penang is so different from the rest of malaysia , people are very friendly , excellent food , many attractive places to visit. The location was also very good and central. Wifi connection was very fast too. We booked deluxe suite but they upgraded us to president suite. huge rooms and comfortable. I like the room and bathroom. Both spacious. Jacuzzi is great but should have the shower. everything 4*.room big enough,room service value for money.will come again when in Penang. Fridge is old Weighing scale is not functioning Window a bit dusty on the outside. No good movies to watch. Jacuzzi not clean, nozzle was stuck with black dirt. Bedsheet slightly stained. In our room the air conditioning was faulty on the first night of our stay and as well the lights in the lounge room would not switch off. The air con was like 16 degrees centigrade so we froze on the first night! The following morning a workman came & adjusted the air con. but said he could do nothing about the lights in the lounge room staying on. They either had to be on or off so we decided on was better as there is a sliding door between the 2 rooms that worked extremely well. Need to improve hotel menu not many varities. Jacuzzi not functioning very well, room service very late in d afternoon.. we went out at 9am, came back at 4pm they haven't make up the room until we call for room service.. Only 1 toothbrush provided for bedroom occupied for 2 person????. Nothing to dislike, for the price paid and value i got. However there are some room for improvement from a few aspects 1) Receptionist could be more professional - some, not all. 2) Hallway carpets are old looking, worn and some stained. 3) Automatic carpark for customers instead of constantly needing to get the ticket from receptionist once leave carpark. I am not sure whether to list this as a pros or cons: Hotel too generous with air-cond. The room is too cold most of the time, and the remote to off the air conditioning does not work. Hotel corridor seems to long of a walk from the lift lobby to the last unit of the floor. Erratic wifi signal Uncomfortable seating in the hall and study area Dated rooms that in need of a makeover. The internet is slow and the signal is weak. The staff are bit inexperience. Location - is close to Gurney Drive but not much else. Would be better to stay in the heart of Georgetown or out in Batu Ferringhi (depending on what you want). Room was quite cold but could be because it was so big Use of two seperate beds to make one extra double? Should of provided more toiletries Don't get hotel to order you a taxi - very expensive!. The furnishings are generally dated and not very comfortable. The hairdryer and some of the lights in the room was also not working. The lift broke down when we went for swimming and we had to use staff's lift. Too many people and we had to wait for quite long. I do not like the swimming pool. Too close to the edge. Too tight stairway from car park. Hard to walk with baggages. No entertaiment like live band. Lamp in my room didn't function well. Need to improve hotel menu because not have many choices. Location and access to the hotel is bad, especially the traffic. The staircase to and from the car park to the hotel lobby is poor. Need to have lift. The dining table light bulb spoit, we have ask the housekeeping to replace the bulb but it is still not replace after our 3 days stay. On first day , hotel staff did not put in bath towels. I had to call in order for the bath towels to be delivered. Delivery of towels was very fast though. On last day, only one set of towel was made available but there are 2 persons living in the room. Car park to lobby don't have elevator. Requested for sea view room but did not get. Check-in was delayed about 30 minutes due to rooms not ready. Carpark access is by stairs from the lobby. room service menu was very limited, food was good and promptly served , but would like to see a bit more choice. the uneven floor in my room. Access to the parking lot quite inconvenient from the hotel as have to use the staircase at the back. staff is poorly trained lobby looks like a cheap chinese restaurant in holland. the room alittle bit old. None. At 1 pm we could not even check in. We were told the hotel was preparing for a group check-in. However they could not spare a room for us. The TV should provide LCD in flat shape. receptionor can be more polite. No lift to carpark. Slow wifi and nothing in the mini-bar. To get to the lobby from the car park, there's no elevator. . no parking for oku because i was oku. HouseKeeping Facilities not well done. Short of Items. I don't like the services there because while I extend my room at 6pm, I told them to clean up my room. After I come back at about 11pm, they didn't clean anything and when I make a call to reception, those cleaner went back already... Why should I pay for the same price but I can't enjoy the facilities on the other day... Breakfast end too early by 10.30am and the staff at the cafe is weird which said that my breakfast is only for one person. As my room is for two person no matter one or two person that checked in, it's for two person....
