I stayed with my friend in the Twin Room for several days and stayed in
the 4-bed dorm later by myself in the middle November. Both room is
nice, clear and comfortable. The temperature was always suitable in the
room that I can only wear short sleeve T. And the toilet and shower room
is always quite clean. The shower water was big and comfortable. The
breakfast was simple but also nice. The owner is a really nice person
that can answer ur questions and even gave us a small gift when we left.

Service: -The house keeper Suchan can speak fluent English. He has
travelled as a single packer for more than 9 months around world.He is
considerate about every traveller's requirement. And chatting with
him is impressive. Location: -On the subway line 2 connecting airport
and Train Station. Easy to find and in a quiet safe area. Environment:
-Surrounded with friendly neighbours and well-known coffee shops.
- Full of the feeling of art and elegence.

I stayed at My Hongdae Guesthouse in Oct, 2013 and had a really wonderful visit. Suchan, who runs the guesthouse, is the perfect host, with specific recommendations for day trips in Seoul, especially shoping center and nice restaurant near the guesthouse.The rooms and facilities are all renovated lately, so it was clean and comfortable, and there is a cool designed roof top lounge for the travellers where I really enjoyed.
I'll definately visit My Hongdae again when I have a chance to visit S.
I do not usually leave reviews but the guesthouse has exceeded my expectations!
Cleanliness is one of my biggest factors when it comes to deciding where to stay and this one has my stamp of approval.
The rooms are secure with free Wi-Fi. The coffee, toast and cereal put an energetic start to my days.
Last but not least, the location is prime to getting around Seoul and to top if off you have a super friendly and helpful host.
Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be a returni.
It was nice stay in My Hongdae Guesthouse. Staffs are sufer friendly(with free towels and free WiFi), and the dormitory rooms are clean and safe(each room has security door lock).
The location was very convenient just five minutes from HongIk Univ. Station, and nice bars and restaurant and many touristic places are accessable.
Additionally, it has cool and modern interior design which I liked most.
As a budget-friendly guesthouse, It was far better than I expected, and it is worthy to stay i.
This place is awesome!. The house is clean and tidy, the ambience is warm and cozy and the facilities are less teat. It is an amazing place to stay for solo traveler, couples and also family. The neighborhood is very safe, peace and near to the subway station, convenience store and also place to eat. The owner of this place is very nice and humble. He is the one that will handle all your needs from A to Z. This place is new and will have many add-ons in the future.
All of people whom I met at the guesthouse were so nice and friendly. It was my first time to visit Korea and I didn't have enough time to prepare for the trip. So, I worried a bit before leaving the US. However, staffs at the guesthouse are super nice and kind that they helped me find several places worthy of visiting.

The staffs were friendly and helpful. There are many good eats around. Especially if you are travelling for long periods, here is a good first start for first timers travelling in Korea as you get a fairly clean and awesome place without paying the high prices of any other hotels.

Very good room and facilities condition, nice location. The staffs are very helpful and sociable. They gave me lots of information about local shopping places, restaurants which could not find at any common guide books. That was very valuable information.

Me and my sister stayed at the guesthouse in Nov,2013 and had a very great time. My Hongdae guesthouse was very clean, clean room, had new facilities, comfortable beds, very quiet. Close to the subway station, very convenient to get from/to Incheon airport either by subway or bus. We will definitely stay at My Hongdae guesthouse next time we are in Seoul.
The best thing about myhongdae guesthouse was the newly designed building of course but also the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere!!!! It was amazing how I could expect such warm and heart-filling service for the price I paid. I will definately recommend this hostel to the ppl visiting Seoul and I will come back myself next time for sure! It was great!!.
I have been to Seoul several times and among that times My Hongdae Guesthouse is the best, I think. The staffs greeted me with a very warm welcome smile and I really love their clean and cozy rooms and toilet. And the Wi-fi is very helpful specially I needed to be online. Cozy and clean atmosphere with easy access to subway station(Hongik
Univ. Exit 3.) The staffs were very helpful. It's a warm-hearted
stay and it makes best memories for me. The breakfast was good. Bread,
milk and boiled eggs butter, jam, cereal, coffee. It was good enough. I
had enjoyed this guesthouse. I will be back again :).
I love that moment when I'm listening lovely music at rooftop of
this guesthouse!!
And, the staff is very kind and nice person. He let me know every great place to visit in Seoul and those information is not to easy to find for especially foreign traveler like me.

My Hongdae is in a deep lane and maybe a little difficult to be found
for the first time by the address on booking. So pls ask the guesthouse
staff for the details to get to it.
