This is a big hotel. Located very close to Iidabashi subway station.
Once we figured out the subway - in a day or so - this was very
convenient. We were in and out a lot catching the subway from Iidabashi.
There is a very nice bakery in the hotel. There is a Starbucks and a big

Friendly staff, they can speak fluent English. There are staff from worldwide too! The cafe ambiance is very good and relaxing. The service at this hotel went above and beyond. When we asked for a
recommendation of a good sushi restaurant, the concierge actually ran

Considering we were on a 3 week trip to Japan and that we visited many
hotels and hostels during its span, I have to say that Tokyo Ueno Youth
Hostel had the friendliest and most helpful staff we have come across.
The general attitude of the employees towards the guests surpassed all
of our expectations. Furthermore, it had great facilities such as
efficient wireless internet which had proven to be hard to come by all
