  Great location! 3-minute walk from Ikebukuro station (West Exit); and where trains are essential for transporting around Tokyo, this is a huge plus point.   I like the city view. My room is on the higher floor. The night view is gorgeous. And breakfast is included in the price. The staff and service and the Japanese garden are excellent. The room and bathroom are big and clean. Though the location is not that near to JR Mejiro station, and very often we have to take taxi to and from the Mejiro sta... τι λέει ο κόσμος » tion, but given the other merits it can offer, it is acceptable. The Mejiro area is a very nice and peaceful area. Actually we can also use the Edo - A very nice hotel, located in a quiet upscale residential area. Classic grand-hotel style, with excellent service and big comfortable rooms with fantastic view towards the city or onto the beautiful Japanese gardens. We enjoyed the pool, gym, spa and the hot spring bath.

  Having stayed at the Family Inn Saiko for almost a week I have to say that the whole experience has been a truly pleasant one! In fact, I would go even so far as saying that it was one of the most pleasant experiences in a few years worth of travelling. The security couldn't be any better with regards to the doors to the individual rooms as well as with regards to t - I loved how friendly and helpful the hotel staff was and how willing they were to assist me in my travels as well as answer my questions and concerns. The room was VERY clean and comfortable and it was a great Japanese cultural experience. It was conveniently located close to 3 subway stops, including the Ikebukuro station. I definitely enjoyed my stay here and if I am ever in Tokyo again, I will be staying here again! I have already recommended the Family Inn Saiko to friends!
