The cafe bar on the ground floor serves classic pancake breakfast, as well as various meals and drinks throughout the day. It is open exclusively for guests staying at the property after 18:00. Free breakfast is offered for guests staying 7 nights or more.

The staff and facilities far exceeded my expectation for a guesthouse. Beds and furniture seemed new and clean. The bathrooms were clean and had excellent water pressure. The staff was friendly and remembered guests by name. I felt a sense of welcome every time I walked the the door. The cafe had delicious food at reasonable prices and beers from around the world at about ¥700 a bottle. I highly recommend this hotels for backpackers, groups on a budget, or someone visiting Kyoto for a few days. όλα τα σχόλια »
A recommendable guesthouse for bagpackers! It's clean, friendly and easy to move around Kyoto.
1) The location was easy to get along the eastern part of Kyoto - very close to Kyomizudera, quite close to Gion. 2) The staffs there are really friendly and fun to be with.
3) Toilets and Showers are clean. Liked that there were many basins outside the shower booths (door closed) so that many people can enter at a time.
4) Each beds are with curtains and was clean.
The staff was wonderful and the facilities were new and clean. The location is excellent, very close to Gion and super easy to access public transportation. They also rent bikes which made seeing the sights around the city an extremely fun and accessible experience.
It was very comfortable and had a nicely designed cafe/social space on the ground level. Definitely one of the nicer hostels I've stayed in. And, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. It just opened, and I'm sure that it will be very popular as word gets out.
The staff was very friendly, I did a mistake and book a bed in a females room and they hosted me in another guesthouse without paying anything extra. They also had offers in the bar of the lower floor. Very friendly staff and guests, nice place to stay.

A very nice place close to a beautiful temple area. There is also a restaurant downstairs of the hostel which offers breakfast and dinner. The staff was very friendly and english speaking. Common room offers seating, microwave, kettle und computers.
It is a super cool place, everyting is neat and nice planned. the facility is good. And their staff are always willing to help! I had wonderful time there. The location is really convenient. I also met many friends there!.
A stone's throw from Kiyomizu Temple. The facilities are really new.Centrally located and very close to the Gion district. Very close to the Raku bus route that brings you to all the sightseeing spots of Kyoto.
The staff was very friendly and this guesthouse provides a very nice atmosphere. There are common areas/cafe where you have the chance to meet with other backpackers and make new friends.
Rooms were clean. Place is easy to find, very conveniently located. Very near Kiyomizudera. No curfew. Very new place. Bed were very comfortable. Good for backpackers. Very afforable.
the location is really good.close to some attractions walking and also the bus stop and metro.the staff are friendly and helpful,one of them can speak English very good.
The Japanese bunk beds with curtains, which makes it easier to sleep
even if other people leave the lights on in the room.

The beds size in shared room is worth for the money. There's enough space to leave the backpack and your valuables in a small box.
There is a high road nearby so if it's a bit noisy by the window. You may need ear puffs if you are sensitive.
We would have liked a kitchenette and larger lockers, but otherwise it was fantastic.
The bathrooms/showers can get a little congested in the morning, and the mirrors are mounted very low.

Maybe the staff would like to inform guests to try to keep the showers clean and try to lower their volumes in the rooms after a certain timing? We had 2 guys who were chatting away in the middle of the night at full volume from their beds. No place to hang wet towels.
12 people in a dorm is is a lot! I'll try the 6 or 4 next time.the breakfast is the same every day,just a pancake and coffee!.
Lack of good safe box or lockers.
There aren't security lockers for luggage but only a small drawer
with lock for documents.
When breakfast is included in a price - you have to pay extra for a tea or coffee.
Showers only on reception at 1F - you need to walk along main entrance.
Nothing. But don't expect anything beside bed and facilities. Bring your own towel, toothbrush, soap and etc.
There's nothing that I don't like about the guesthouse after 3 days 2 nights there.. everything is fine..
・It's a little far away from the nearest station Kiyomizu Gojo.
It's about 10-15 min by walking. If you are with big baggage,
it's going to be hard to walk.
the bed is not comfortable, the room is too dark at night even with lights turned on. You need to go up and down stairs to the bathroom although they have two toilets in every floor.
Bathrooms were not very clean, they should tell guest to collaborate.
Lack of facilities like lockers or a place in the room where to leave the clothes.
One of the members of the staff was very unflexible with the breakfast and didn't want to change the toppings of our pancake.
