A 5-minute drive to Hakuba Happo One Ski Resort, Japanese-style hotel Araya Ryokan offers a hot spring bath, Japanese cuisine a launderette. Rooms feature a seating area with a tatami (woven-straw) floor, and some come with a private bathroom.
All rooms have heating and air conditioning facilities, while some feature beds, and others offer traditional futon bedding to sleep in. A TV and an attached toilet are provided in each room.
Ryokan Araya offers ski storage and luggage storage. Guests can unwind in a soothing public hot spring bath, which is separate for men and women. Free parking is available.
A Japanese breakfast and a multi-course dinner with seasonal local dishes are served at the dining room. A drinks vending machine is on-site.
The Araya Ryokan is just a 10-minute drive from the Hakuba Iwatake Snow Ski Area, featured in the 1998 Winter Olympic Games. Hakuba Train Station is a 10-minute drive as well, and the Hakuba Onsen hot springs can be enjoyed a 40-minute drive away.
