First things my friend and me appreciate the best is Elena who is the owner of the apartment. She is very nice and enthusiastic to provide many effective information and help to us. What's more, the location and environment impressed us unexpectedly! There are two doors for the apartment, one outside is a very nice courtyard with a well, another opened is just the river!! όλα τα σχόλια » Very nice place to stay. Elena (owner) very very friendly and helpful. She gave us tips and advice on what to do in Venice, also gave us a small history lesson about Venice. Apartment was very clean and big. Had. Everything you could ask for, kitchen (with plates, knives and forks, coffee, kettle etc), toilet with hairdryer and washing machine, big living room with tv, king size double bed with window that opens on a small canal. Aircondtion aswell and also a small basket with books and magazin. Elena is a wonderful host and will give you plenty of tips on what to do, where to eat etc. The flat is spacious (can comfortably accommodate up to four people), well-equipped and clean. It is located in San Polo, right next to Grande Scuola di San Giovanni Evangelista, so within walking distance from everything (train station, rialto, vaporetti). The value for money ratio considering Venice prices is very very good. The apartment was amazing! It is big, cute and equipped with all the things that you need. The location is very good and you can easily move around to the main points of Venice. Elena, the owner, is a very special person and made our stay in Venice very pleasant, giving a lot of tips about the city. For sure we recommended and we hope came back and stay longer in this apartment. The apartment was in a very good location, in the middle of the island/city. The apartment owner/staff was friendly and helpful, she told us about all the things we should and should not go to see during our trip. The apartment was clean and very close to train station. It is very easy to go around the Venice from the apartment. Elena, the owner, was very kind and helpful. Very friendly hostess. A bottle of winw was welcoming us. Several multilingual guide books. Nice quiet surroundings. Helpfulness when we first arrived. If force me to say anything about the weaknesses, I may say the washing machine was a little hard for us to operate, but Elena soon gave much help for us to solve the problem. And the another thing we suggest is the WIFI may be applied as the signal of our mobiles is very poor in the apartment. Do not expect luxury since the flat is on the ground floor of an old Venetian building. You can hear the neighbours walking upstairs and there is not much sunlight coming through the windows. If you are okay will all of this, Corte Calderer is a great place to stay and explore Venice for a couple of days. There is currently no internet connection available in the apartment, and you must go around the corner to the cafe for that. The two twin-size beds that are combined to create a queen-size bed slide apart too easily and often create an uncomfortable gap in the bed. The kitchen is decent, but lacks a freezer. We arrived in afternoon and wanted to live the next day in the afternoon but since it is not a hotel (it is a personal apartment) we could not leave our luggage and pick it up later. we had to go to train station the next day and deposit our luggage there; I ended up paying 30 € for 3 small luggage. Taking that into account I could stay in 5 star hotel with less price!. No windows.
