The hotel was very conveniently located near the main square and was a good choice. We had one of the rooms on the thrid floor with good views. I would think that some of the back rooms on the first floor facing the garden are also good. The staff were very helpful when it came to choice of restaurants and tours. - Every single thing. As I mentioned above, my wife and I and our friends who travveled with us just loved the two days that we stayed here. We felt like the owners had become our friends and it was sad to leave. The staff were excellent and the little chalets were a refreshing change from a multi storey hotel.
It's a ten minute walk to the main square but as a result it's a peaceful retreat. There's a great restaurant called Fillippo about a five minute walk away.
The breakfast was superb, lots of choice and reasonable quality food. -

We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise. Great atmosphere throughout the hotel, its perfect!! - A beautiful hotel with the most welcoming and friendly staff. Hotel was extremely clean and the rooms were comfortable and roomy. The hotel has the most spectacular view of Sorrento and the coast. The hotel provides easy axcess into Sorrento via a shuttle. We would recommend finding out the shuttle or bus schedule prior to arrival in Sorrento since the taxis to the hotel are pricey (Euro 50).
