expected. The hotel staff were simply magnificent and were always
looking to help us with, for example, directions for days out of

We arrived by car so we were looking for somthing close to the city, butnot in it. The hotel was very convenient to the highway, but stillquiet, and did not charge for parking. We were there for a long weekend, racing at the Mugello circuit. The hotel is extremely well situated, a bus station just nearby the hotel to go to Florence and the scenery is splendid. The Bencista is a fabulous old villa up in the hills of Fiesole with
breathtaking views of Florence. It is a wonderful, quiet retreat from
long days of sight-seeing. It is a short walk to the bus stop to catch
the #7 bus into town (20 min) or a €25 cab ride (recommended for
luggage). We had good wi-fi in our room as well as around the building.

It is so quiet at night and cooler than Florence. Dinner on the terrazza overlooking Florence. The antique everything. What better than a stay in a Medici Villa for a visit to Florence! You can buy bus tickets right there and hike up to the road to catch a bus. Nice 20 min walk to Fiesole, or you can take the bus. Coffee on the Terrazza next to the Aurora Hotel in Fiesole is great too. There is no A/C but the large ceiling fan was sufficient. No TV, but who has time to watch tv with all the stu

Monica, who owns and manages Rosary Gardens, simply can not do enough
for her guests. This was my second stay at this hotel and it ranks one
of the best experiences ever. The hotel us clean, quiet and has more
than you could hope for, down to the magnifying mirrors in the
bathrooms. I have to mention the breakfasts there as they are amazing.

This hotel is a little gem! Beautiful English decor, very cosy and stylish. Little breakfast area with four tables; breakfast with a choice of breads, jams, eggs, cereals, fresh fruits etc. Our room was big enough for three and had all facilities we needed. The hotel is on the outside of Florence approx 4 km. of the city centre.

Luxury fittings should be rated a 5 star apartment. Beautiful views, quiet location, secure, just out of the lovely city of Florence.
