Absolutely loved this place. Big room with a fantastic bed. Nice bathroom and it was all very clean. Hotel is nice and isolated, but there is a great restaurant just a short walk away. Didn't use the pool or hot tub due to the weather, but they both looked decent. If you are out here at the right time of year, and walking back from the restaurant at night, keep your eyes peeled for fireflies. Amazing

The weekend spent at Hotel Villa Cora was a great experience. The beauty of the building, the attention to details and privacy you get are good reasons to go back. The services, professionalism and kindness of the staff was something we also enjoyed.
The hotel is close enough to the center (if you are not used to always be in the car) and they also offer a shuttle which we took on the way back in the evening.

Overall, very upscale hotel under new ownership (one year). Comfortable rooms, excellent staff, and new upscale restaurant. Chef Guido is outstanding; meals were gourmet. Hotel is very well located for exploring Tuscany, Florence and Sienna. Highly recommend once you find the place.

The Castiglione del Bosco was absolutely amazing. A must stay if visiting Tuscany. The winery is amazing, as is their wine (the '04 Brunello is like sipping Heaven). The service of the entire staff was fantastic, and we couldn't imagine how to improve anything about the Castiglione del Bosco. -

It was a unique setting and property. We would recommend staying here and cant wait to return one day this time for longer. - Beautiful old villa in Italian garden with lovely rooms and views. We loved the hotel from the time we arrived and throughout our stay. The front desk is exceptional. Our room had a balcony with double doors which we rarely closed so we could hear the surf. The furnishings were "simple elegance". Everything was very clean and fresh. Breakfast was a feast and the coffee order was immediately taken and served.
We would most definitely stay here again.

EVERYTHING except the parking (we were in Pienza over the May Day holiday, which made this problem acute (since we needed to park near to the hotel due to the wheelchair). In addition, repairs were being made to the side road, where the parking spots were located, which exacerbated the problem.

The look of the Hotel is very Modern and very Chic, it has beautiful art and the location was fantastic right by all the main attractions. The breakfast was wonderful with both hot and cold items available and as much expresso, coffee or tea as you could want.
