What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania. A very friendly welcome from Paolo, a gentleman who instantly made us feel at home. The apartment shares the relaxing feeling of a Sicilian country house. It was a familiar and lovely welcome in the residence. The hoteliers, Carmen and Vincenzo, are more than friendly! Vincenzo picked us up from the ferry and Carmen showed us around the residence. It is a wonderful site a few steps away from main street and port with a fantastic sea view. The rooms have a proper size and are modern and clean. The bad is sooo comfortable.
We had a perfect one-week stay in “Le Terrazze”, almost felt like home, especially because of the nice (English speaking) hote

Turned out that renting an apartment at Case Don Ignazio in southern Sicily was an excellent idea. Located at the top of the hill, surrounded by lime and orange orchards, and olives groves at the downhills, with spectacular view over Ionian see on the left and baroque beauty Rosolini on the right. Sergio was so helpful and provided great information on sites, restaurants, whatever you ask. Quiet and scenic location. Nice, spacious and clean rooms. Laundry facilities on site. Great for day trips throughout western Sicily. Erice, Segesta, Mozia and the salt flats, Monte Cofano Park and Trapani are so close they can be half day trips. Selinunte and Zingaro easily accessible as well.

Everything about this place is excellent. You are greeted by Giuseppe the owner who is extremely friendly and helpful.
